On 22nd March, my class went to Shuiyun Valley to plant trees. Unluckily, it {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(begin) to rain when we got there. The rain got heavier and heavier, so we waited in a tent (帐篷). After {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (冠词) rain stopped, we started to walk up the hill.

    We took some spades and saplings (锹和幼树) with {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (we). They were so heavy that we couldn't walk very fast. Finally, we arrived at the top. A farmer{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(teach) us how to plant trees: dig (挖掘) a hole, put a sapling in the hole and make it stand…… I couldn't wait to try, so I picked up a spade and started working.

    It wasn't such an easy job as it might look like,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (连词) the spade was very heavy. It took me about 15 minutes {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (finish) planting the first tree. The other ones were much {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (easy) because I was becoming more and more experienced. When I finished the {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (eight) one, the rain started again we kept on working in raincoats.

    Finally, we finished planting all the trees. We were very happy although we were tired and hungry then we went down the hill and back {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (介词) the tent: The dinner was ready. We had chicken; eggs, cakes, etc. They were very delicious.

    After dinner, the farmer gave us some {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (gift). We said thanks and went back home.
