Stephen Hawking was born on January 8th, 1942, exactly 300 years after the death of Galileo in Oxford, England. At the age of eleven, Stephen went to Oxford University, his father's old college. After three years, he won a first class honour degree in {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(nature) science.
