Once there was a very rich man. He had a lot of money, but he wasn't happy at all. He didn't know the purpose (目标) of his life. (连词) the rich man asked a clever old man for help.

You will be able to see the others when you take away that silver coating. It covers (遮住) your  (eye). When you can see the others and feel compassion (同情) and 10ve for them, you'll find the purpose of your life and feel happy."
