Most English people have four meals(餐饭)a day. They are breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. People usually have breakfast at any time from seven to nine in the morning. They'd like to have eggs, bread and milk. English people drink tea or coffee for breakfast. Lunch comes at 1:00pm. Afternoon tea is from four to five in the afternoon and the dinner is about half past seven. First they have soup(汤),then they have meat or fish with vegetables. After that they eat some other things such as bananas, apples and oranges. But not all English people eat like that. Some of them have their dinner in the middle of the day. Their meals are breakfast, dinner, afternoon tea and supper and all these meals are very necessary(必要的).

     There are four people in Sam's family. They are Father, Mother, Lily and Sam. Next Sunday they will have a holiday. Sam's father wants to see the Great Wall. But his mother wants to go swimming in Qingdao. Sam and Lily are pupils. Lily wants to do her homework at home. What about Sam? He wants to see the Sea World in Sanya. They don't know where they are going.

    Look! This is a picture of my bedroom. It's small. There is a bed, a desk and a chair in it. There is a toy bear on my bed. On the desk there is an English book, a blue pen and a red lamp(台灯).     I am Chen Jie. I usually get up at 7 o'clock but not on the weekend. I go to school at 7:30. We have four classes in the morning and three classes in the afternoon. I like Chinese very much. We have a Chinese class at 9:30. I go home at 5:30 pm. I eat dinner at 6:30 pm. Then I do my homework at nine o'clock.

    My American friend and I have a simple room. It is not very large. It has a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. In the kitchen, there is old wooden table, four new chairs, an electric stove, a small refrigerator, and lots of dirty dishes in the sink. Sometimes, at night, we have mice on the floor. The living room has a brown sofa with lots of holes in it. One table with a lamp, and one big green chair. Old pictures of Michael Jordan are on the wall. The bedroom has two beds, two desks, two lamps and a lot of dirty clothes. The bathroom has a dirty toilet, a bathtub, a sink, and a mirror. The shower doesn't work sometimes.
