【跨文化:中英茶文化】Both Chinese and British people(英国人) like drinking tea. But  they are different.

In China, people like drinking Chinese Kung Fu tea. Chinese Kung Fu tea is a way of      making tea. It started in Fujian. And it is now popular(流行的) in Guangdong, too.The tea-making process is very strict. People need to wash the teapot(茶壶) and cups first.Then, put the hot water into the teapot with tea leaves, make the tea leaves wait for a while,and then pour(倒) the tea into cups.

In the UK, people like drinking tea in the afternoon. Today, many hotels and tea rooms in  the UK have afternoon tea. People like putting milk and sugar in their tea. They also like eating    sandwiches and cakes when drinking tea.

Unicycling used to be something you'd only see specially trained entertainers or circus performers do,but now people of all ages are learning it as an interesting street sport—or just a quick way of getting around. 

How do I get started？

Buy a unicycle online for about 50 dollars. You can watch a teaching video,read the guiding book and teach yourself or join an after—school club to learn how to ride it. Practise somewhere with a longwall,like a school playground or corridor. 

What if I fall off？

You'll usually just land on your feet as the unicycle falls over. If you fall off the front,it's probably because you're not pedaling（踩踏板）enough. If you fall off the back,you're probably leaning too far back. 

How long does it take to learn？

It usually takes several weeks of regular practice before you can ride it.

People can eat with forks, spoons, chopsticks or just their hands.

Some people eat rice and vegetables with their hands. They make the food into a small ball in their hands and eat it. In India(印度), we can see many people eat with their hands. Now, many people eat meals with a fork and knife. One fork has four prongs(尖齿). People put food on them and put it in their mouths. And some people use spoons tohave soup and eat food. People used shells(贝壳) or animals' horns (角) to make spoons before. In China, people use chopsticks to eat food. Chopsticks are 

good for picking up rice and noodles from a bowl.

Elephants are very large animals. They eat only plants. Baby elephants drink milk from their mother up to three years. Elephants like to live in groups. Some stay with their family even when they grow up. A family group has two to eight animals. Elephants are very big and heavy, but they are very good swimmers. They are very strong, too. They can do many things with their long trunks (象鼻), and they are helpful.

In the past, there were many elephants, but now there are fewer and fewer (越来越少). People hunt them for their tusks. They use them to make ivory products (象牙制品). In Thailand, people use elephants to carry heavy things, and they also train (训练) them for a show. Many elephants hurt badly or die because of the training. In 2003, there were only about 30, 000 Asian elephants in the world. To protect elephants, we shouldn't buy ivory products. We shouldn't watch elephant shows.

 Life in space is much different from life on the earth. How do astronauts (宇航员) live in space?

Before, astronauts could eat only small pieces of dried food. But now they can eat more food like fruit, vegetables and ice cream.

All the people in ISS(国际空间站) have their own rooms. They have to tie themselves to their beds, or they' ll fly away!

Astronauts exercise for about two hours every day. That way, they can still be healthy when they get back home.

Astronauts can read books, listen to music or send emails to their friends and family when they are not working. Sometimes they just sit and look out of the window. It's also much fun!

The lives of astronauts are very interesting, and many people want to be them.

        Hello, kids! You know what? There isn't enough clean water for us. Many people die because they don't have enough water. In many countries, people cut down trees. Then, there is nothing to stop the water from going away. We also make the land, rivers and air dirty. So, we have to face more floods (水灾) and droughts (旱灾). Now, it's time for us to do something good to protect our home - the Earth. We can plant trees and look after them well. We can save water and tell our parents to do it too. We mustn't throw rubbish on the ground. We should pick it up and recycle it. If we take care of our Earth now, it will be nicer and more beautiful in the future. Let's do it together!
