Mid-Autumn Festival is an important(重要的) festival in    China. It is on August 15th of the lunar calendar(农历).

In China, Mid-Autumn Festival has a history of more than 3,000 years. So it's special for Chinese people. It is time for families to get together. And the moon on this day is very big and  beautiful.

What will people do on Mid-Autumn Festival? People often watch the moon, eat mooncakes and also have a big dinner together on the evening of Mid-Autumn Festival. They also send mooncakes to their friends.

Many countries also like Mid-Autumn Festival. They eat mooncakes and read some poems about it.

Congcong: There are two floors in our dining hall. Chinese food is on the first floor. Kung Pao Chicken is a yummy dish( 菜肴) from China. It's my favourite dish. It has chicken and vegetables. My father would like to eat it for lunch.

Tiantian:Noodles are my favourite food. They are long and thin. I love to eat them withchopsticks. It's fun! Noodles come from China, but people from all over the world like them. Eating noodles makes me happy.

Peter: Hot pot is delicious Chinese food, too. We can call it huoguo. I often eat hot pot with my friends or family. We can put our favourite food into the pots, like beef,chicken, vegetables and noodles.

 There are a lot of sea animals in the world. Oceans are their home. Here are three of them. They are sharks, dolphins and octopuses. Let's learn something about them.

 Most sharks look for food at night. Some sharks like opening their mouths when they are swimming through the sea. They will eat anything on their way. Most sharks have good eyes. They can see well in the dark seas.

Dolphins are very smart animals. There are more than thirty kinds of dolphins in the world. They are very kind and helpful. Some people fell into the sea and dolphins saved them. Dolphins are not fish. They are mammals(哺乳动物) just like us.

This is an octopus. It is a kind of sea animal. It's famous for its round body and eight long arms. Its arms are very useful. It can use its arms to catch other small fish easily. An octopus has three hearts and its blood is blue.

Spring is very pretty in Shandong. There are many flowers in the garden. The leaves turn green. It is sunny and warm.

My favourite season is summer. In summer, the weather is usually very hot. So I can swim in the lake with my friends.

Autumn is a golden season of a year. I can eat some fruit and vegetables on the farm. They are sweet and delicious.

In winter, it often snows a lot. I can skate and play in the snow with my parents.
