This is my school. There are many trees and flowers in it. It's very nice. There is a big playground in our school. Many students come to the playground to play football after school. Near the playground, there's a teaching building, and it's big and nice. In front of the teaching building, there's a gym, and some students like to play ping-pong there.

There are 30 classes and about 1500 students in our school. All the teachers are kind. They often help us. The students all like to help each other. We love our school and teachers.

Long long ago, schoolbags were boxes made of wood （木头） or bamboo （竹子）. Students carried these "bags" to school.

In the 1970s, schoolbags were yellow cloth （布） bags. Students carried them. Workers and farmers carried them, too. On the schoolbag, there were big words-Serve (服务) the people. This is the memory （记忆） of the times.

Now our schoolbags are backpacks. They are colourful — red, yellow, black...

Jim is a ten-year-old boy. He has a sister. Her name is Ann. Jim's mother is Mrs Green. She is a doctor. Every morning, she makes breakfast for her family. She makes bread for Jim and cooks (煮) eggs for Ann. She makes hamburgers for Mr Green. Then she rides her bike to work. Jim and Ann have lunch at school. In the evening, Mr Green cooks rice, meat and vegetables for dinner. They are yummy. Mrs Green usually buys (买) some fruit from the shop. They all like fruit.

There are four seasons in a year. I can do many things. In spring, it's warm and windy. I can fly kites. The flowers are beautiful. The grass is very green. In summer, it's sunny and hot. I like summer best! Because I can eat ice cream and swim in the pool with my friends. I can go on a picnic with my parents. Autumn is a golden season. There is a lot of snow in winter. I can play in the snow. Which season do you like best?
