Hello, I'm Anna. The summer holiday is coming. What's your plan for it? I would like to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (分享)mine with you. This holiday, I will go on a summer {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (营地) in London first. I'm going to learn to draw, make new friends and go {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(观光) there. Anyway, I will have a lot of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(乐趣). Then after coming back from London, I am going to visit my grandparents in the {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(乡下). l will help them with some farm work and {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(家务劳动). l also want to do some volunteer work {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(在……期间) the summer holiday, such as helping in an old people's home and collecting {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(垃圾) in the park. I think I will have a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(极好的) holiday. I really look{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(向前)to it! 

When I was a child, watermelon (西瓜) was too expensive for my family. One of my father's friends, Bernie,was a rich businessman. He owned a large fruit store in another place.

Every summer, when the first watermelons arrived, Bernie would give us a call. My father and I would go to Bernie's place. We would sit on the dock (码头) happily and get ready for a big meal.

Bernie would take a big watermelon out, cut it up, give us both a big piece and sit down next to us. Then we three would put our faces into the watermelon, eating it happily.

In my father's eyes, Bernie was a real rich man. I always thought it was because he was a successful businessman. Later I learned that it was not Bernie's money that made my father think like that. My father thought he was rich because of the way he lived his life. Bernie knew when to stop working, get together with friends and enjoy his "watermelon".

When I grew up, because I was too busy making money as a doctor, I forgot the lesson I once learned on the dock. Well, now I've relearned it. Though (尽管) I'm still busy working as a doctor, I will try to slow down and take the time to enjoy the small pleasures (快乐) of my life.

In 2010, Justin Horner was driving down a busy freeway in Portland, when his tire(轮胎) blew out. He pulled over to the side of the road and made a(an) 1 that said he needed help.

Three 2 later, a van finally pulled up. Out came a family of 3 . They worked together to 4 Horner's car. They found a log on the side of the road, and using it to lift the car. When they finished, themom pulled out a big bottle of 5 , and they drank and washed their hands.

"I just thanked them and thanked them and thanked them,"Horner recalled."And I tried to give her money. Ionly had a $20 bill, and I just thought, you know, it's the 6 I had with me. And she just 7 take it."

But Horner was adamant(坚定的), and finally he put the money in 8 hand, and walked away. Then he 9 their small daughter call out, to ask Horner if he was 10 . Indeed he was, and she came over with abag of sandwiches. They exchanged thank you, she got into the van, and the family started to 11 .

"12 they're trying to get into traffic, I opened the bag and my money is 13 the bag,"Horner said."

Horner immediately ran over to the 14 , which was starting to pull into traffic, to get the father's attention.

"He rolls down his window. He sees me coming and he's just 15 his head. And I keep saying like, 'Porfavor, por favor'—I'm holding a bill out,"Horner remembered.

"And he just kind of puts his hand up and he just says,"‘Today you, tomorrow me.'"

Jim Smith is a middle school student. And he lives in New York, the USA. He is very busy during a week. He stays at school from Monday to Friday. He usually gets up at 6:30 in the morning. Then he brushes his teeth. School begins at 7:40 a.m.. He has five classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon. He often exercises, because he thinks it is good for his health. He runs on Tuesday and Thursday after school at about 5:00 p.m.. He takes a shower at 6:00 p.m.. He does his homework from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. He watches TV for an hour. Then he goes to bed at 10:00 p.m.. He isn't free on weekends. He takes a piano lesson on Saturday morning. In the afternoon, he plays soccer with his friends.
