When we buy a house, we all want to have nice neighbors, because most of us think that it is helpful to live with some good neighbors. But what kind of neighbor is good? The answers are different from people to people. Here are my answers. 

First, it is very important to respect each other. If our neighbors try to know more about our life, how will we feel? He or she may also talk with others about our life. Do you want to live with him or her any more? The answer is—No. We will feel very sad to have this kind of neighbour and move away quickly. 

Next, a good neighbour is always ready to give us a hand when we need him or her. For example, if we are not at home, our good neighbors will watch our house for us. 

Finally, a good neighbour should love the environment(环境) . He or she never puts rubbish(垃圾) here and there. Good neighbors should keep the place clean, because the good environment can make us comfortable(舒服的) and happy.

I think we all should learn to be good neighbors, and I also hope everyone will have good neighbors and live a happy life.

Nowadays, we have kinds of technologies to protect us from different disasters（灾难）. We even know where and when some disasters, like the typhoon, come. While most of the new technologies are far away from us, some around us can help people in disasters.

The drone（无人机）is one of them. It can be used to send food, water and other important things when a natural disaster happens. Very often the buildings are too dangerous for rescue teams to get in. They can make the drone fly into the buildings to search for those who are still alive first.

Social media is also a useful tool when it comes to natural disasters. With its help, people can know about the natural disasters before they hit. And some social media platforms allow people to mark themselves as safe after disasters so others can know their status.

 Social media is also a place for up-to-the-minute news, so people can learn what is going on in the disaster areas. Besides, many social media platforms allow people to donate money to help people in disaster areas. The money will help them get back to their normal life as soon as possible. For example, livestreaming（直播）helped raise a lot of money for Henan after the flood in 2021.

Although these technologies can help when there is a natural disaster, we still need to prepare necessary tools and learn important skills to protect ourselves.

Mr. Smith is on a trip to the famous zoo in Solvang and he stays in a nice hotel. These are the front and back sides(正反面) of Mr. Smith's hotel room card. 

A young couple decided to go camping in the mountains to celebrate their first year of marriage. They took with them all the things they would need to go camping—warm clothes, food and a tent. 

They went up to the mountains and found the perfect place to set up their tent. After that, they decided to go for a hike(远足) to see more of the mountains. 

After a long hike, they went back to their camp, built a fire and cooked dinner. Finally, it was time to go to sleep. 

Sometime in the middle of the night, the wife woke her husband up and said, " Look up at the sky. What do you see?"

Her husband answered, "I see millions of stars. "

His wife said, " That's right. What does that mean to you?"

The husband said, " Well, if there are so many stars out there, that means there might also be a planet just like the planet we live on. And if that's true, then there could be life on one of those planets. That's kind of exciting!"

His wife said, " You are wrong. It means that someone has stolen our tent!"
