Harbin, a city in the northeast of China, drew greatattention and became the hottest tourist city last winter. In fact, on January 5th every year, the city of Harbin innortheast China{#blank#}1{#/blank#} into a winter wonderland. Tourists from all around the world come to visit the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ice and snow festival. 

The festival started in 1963 and began as a winter party. The festival often lasts for one month. However, if the weather stays cold and dry, it will {#blank#}3{#/blank#} for a few more days. Temperatures are usually very low. They can go down to -17℃. Ice sculptors (雕塑家) use different tools to shape the hard ice and snow. These sculptors show their works in two main areas. "Sun Island" has huge snow sculptures of people and animals. "Ice and Snow World" has sculptures of buildings. At night, these buildings light up {#blank#}4{#/blank#} brightly-colored lights. Visitors can do a lot of other {#blank#}5{#/blank#}, such as skiing and ice sliding. They can also go swimming in the icy waters of the Songhua River. 

In the past,space tourism sounded like a dream,but now it is becoming a reality(现实).

On September 15,2022,an {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(America)company sent four people into space.The four spent three days in space{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(do)almost everything they could do on Earth.They{#blank#}3{#/blank#} (fly)farther out than the International Space Station.

Just two months before,in July,British billionaire Jerry Branson had also travelled to space in spaceship made by{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(he)own company.

Spaceships by private(私人的)companies{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(able)the super rich to travel to space. Although each seat on the rocket cost millions of dollars,some people still want to know what it is like to be away{#blank#}6{#/blank#}the Earth.

But with the sky-high prices,is space travel just {#blank#}7{#/blank#}dream for common people?Maybe not.US flight engineer Ferdowsi believes that the price will come down,and common people can travel to space{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(free)."Maybe in ten{#blank#}9{#/blank#}fifteen years,it's a decision(决定) between 'do I buy a new car,'or 'do I go to space?"We should invest in a future.And that future allows us to live somewhere else if one day things like{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(pollute)or natural disasters (灾 难)destroy (摧毁)the Earth."

You may sometimes feel worried and upset about your relations with your family members. Not getting along well with them probably {#blank#}1{#/blank#}you badly. Here are some {#blank#}2{#/blank#} for you so that your problems and pressures can be dealt with properly.

Pinocchio had a fever. The Fairy took a glass of water with medicine and said lovingly to Pinocchio, "Drink this, and you'll be up and well. "

Pinocchio looked at the glass worriedly and said, "I'd rather die than drink that awful medicine. "

At that moment the door of the room flew open and came in four Rabbits as black as ink， carrying a small black coffin（棺材）on their shoulders.

After that， the Fairy added，"Pinocchio，tell me how you were in the hands of the robbers（盗贼）last time. "

"I had five gold pieces to give to my Father, but on the way I met two robbers. They tied my neck with a rope and hung me to a tree. " said Pinocchio. 

"Where are the gold pieces now?" the Fairy asked. 

"I lost them, " answered Pinocchio. As he spoke, his nose became at least two inches longer. 

"And where did you lose them?"

"In the wood nearby. " At this second lie his nose grew a few more inches. 

"If you lost them in the nearby wood, " said the Fairy, "we'll look for them and find them. "

"Ah, now I remember, " replied Pinocchio, "I did not lose the gold pieces, but I swallowed them. "

At this third lie, his nose became longer than ever. The Fairy sat looking at him and laughing. 

"Why do you laugh?" Pinocchio asked her, worried now at the sight of his growing nose. 

"I am laughing at your lies. "

"How do you know I am lying?"

"Lies, my boy, are known in a moment. There are two kinds of lies, lies with short legs and lies with long noses. Yours, just now, happen to have long noses. "
