This is Guo Moruo's bedroom. The floor is brown. There {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(A. is B. are) a wardrobe(衣柜) near the bed. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(A. On B. Above) the bed, we can see two pillows(枕头) and a quilt(被子). He can {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(A. take a shower B. have a nap) here. Some books are near his bed. They are the Twenty-four Histories(《二十四史》). Guo Moruo likes reading them very much. And near the window, I see a small {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(A. study B. sofa). {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(A. But B. Or) I can't find the lamp(台灯) in his bedroom.

奇奇的新家

This is a picture of my new house.

There are three bedrooms upstairs(楼上). In my bedroom, there's a big yellow bed. And there is a big plant between my sister's be droom and my parents' bedroom.

There's a stairway between the first floor and the second floor. On the first floor, there is a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. Our living room is very big, and there are three sofas and a red table in the middle. My parents often watch TV on the sofa. There are many photos of my family on the wall above the TV.

Next to the house, there is a big beautiful garden. This is for my sister and me. There is a swim-ming pool and grass. My sister and I like playing in the garden.

I like my house a lot.

Masa 的中国生活

Masa is 12 years old. She lives with her family in a small place in China. She has an elder brother and a little sister. Her house is small and very old. Masa is polite to others and is clever in class. She often has bread and milk before school. She goes to school by bike and gets to school at 8:30 a. m.

At school, Masa studies Chinese, maths, science, music, art and PE on the weekdays. They also study traditional (传统的) Chinese arts, such as Chinese calligraphy (书法), a kind of old Chinese writing. Masa's favourite subject is music. Her music teacher is young and tall. She often sings songs with her friends after class. When she is older, she wants to be a pianist. She also likes drawing. She likes Chinese food very much and she likes beef noodles best.

Diandian: This is my grandpa. He has a garden.

Lanlan: Hi, Grandpa. Nice to meet you!

Grandpa: Nice to meet you too.

Lanlan: It's a nice garden.

Grandpa: Thank you. I have two apple trees. Diandian helps me water them.

Lanlan: I see apples on the tree. One, two… five. Five apples.

Diandian: I like pets. We have four birds and one big dog and some rabbits.

Lanlan: Wow, rabbits! One, two, three! They are so cute!

Hi, I'm Kate. I am a new student in Willow School. I am tall and thin. I have long hair and big eyes. I have a new schoolbag. It's pink and white. It looks like a cat. There are three notebooks and two storybooks in it. There is a nice pencil box, too. It's purple. There are four pencils, a pen, an eraser and two rulers in it. Oh, where's my schoolbag? Oh, it's under the chair.
