In recent years, science fiction (科幻小说) has become more and more popular in China, especially after the sci-fi writer Liu Cixin won the Hugo Award in 2015.  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} It has been popular all over the world. 

In an interview, Liu said that science fiction would open our minds to everything in the future. " {#blank#}2{#/blank#} And it opens up a new world to them, " he added. 

According to Liu, young readers should read different books in order to find out what they are truly interested in. Liu once said, "I've read a lot of works of Leo Tolstoy and Arthur Charles Clarke. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} "

The Chinese sci-fi film The Wandering Earth was a real hit in 2019. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} Liu said the success mainly came from the hard work of the movie's team. "As the first Chinese sci-fi movie, I must say that it's very exciting and encouraging, " he said. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} He believed that there would be different kinds of Chinese sci-fi movies in the future. 

I'm Ben from Moonlight Middle School. Peter is my best friend there. We 1 our school. Our favourite place is the 2 . We read books there every day. Peter also likes the playground. He loves 3 and he is a member of the school basketball team.

Last December, I was looking for a beautiful mountain resort (度假胜地) for my holiday. A friend suggested Zermat. The name alone was enough to interest me at once, so I did some research, bought a ticket, and soon found myself on a plane to Switzerland.

Located in the south of the country, Zermat is known for its mountainous scenery. The town sits at the foot of the Matterhorn, one of the most famous mountains in the Alps. As my train moved towards Zermat, I couldn't wait to see with my own eyes the shape of the great Matterhorn.

I come from the busy city of Bangkok, and it was fascinating to find myself in a small town with fewer than 6,000 people. Throughout the year, Zermatt's population increases very much with tourists. The town, which is famous for its outdoor activities, invites people to come to ski, hike, climb... anything, as long as they don't bring their car.

Before I got there, I found out that I wouldn't be able to rent (租) a car. In fact, cars that use traditional oil are not allowed inside the town. That's because the people of Zermatt are so proud of their view of the great Matterhorn that they don't want it blocked by air pollution from cars. So visitors like me usually arrive in Zermat by train.

I quite enjoyed being "car-free" and exploring the place on foot. I used one of the town's electric taxis when I wanted to travel a bit further. I also took an electric bus once. But nothing was more fun than exploring the area in an old-fashioned horse-drawn carriage (四轮马车). I was happy to exchange the polluted skies of downtown Bangkok for the clean, clear mountain air. And until I experienced the peace and quiet in Zermatt, I didn't realise how much traffic noise I hear every day. The town's electric cars were practically silent.

I often wonder about my future as I'm going to finish secondary school. The number one question on my mind is what job I should choose. I want a job that will satisfy (使满意) me and bring me happiness. I believe that a job should be like a hobby. I will love my work. 

First of all, before I finish secondary school, I will take the first important exam of my life the final graduation (毕业) exam. I will have an English test, a math test, and a biology (生物) test. After my graduation, I will study at the medical university. 

But now, I'm trying my best to finish my studies. Also, before I have a family, I would like to travel around the world. I want to go to some countries like China, Finland and travel through Africa. After I finish my education and travels. I plan to get married (结婚) and have a family. I would like to live with my future family in the quiet, natural countryside.
