It was Mother's Day. When I woke up this morning, I knew something was 1 in the house. Usually, I am the first to get up. But this morning, I could hear my son get up and he was searching around in the 2 . I heard the sound of glasses and dishes ringing, the fridge door opening and closing, and water running. Things sounded quite 3 .

I called his name to see what was going on. My little boy Bill quickly answered." Don't 4 , Mom!" he shouted as he came running to my bedroom door." I'm making something special 5 you this Mother's Day. I'm making a nice breakfast, and I want to 6 you in the bed."

I was surprised because Bill had 7 made breakfast before. I considered if I should get up and 8 him. However, I decided to lie back and wait to see what he would 9 for me. I smelled eggs burning, and I heard sausages (香肠) frying (煎) quickly. He was making a 10 in the kitchen!

After a few minutes, I heard my little boy knock at the bedroom door. 11 came into the room with some sausages and eggs, a hamburger and a glass of milk. The sausages were 12 and the eggs were burnt (烧焦的). This was his first time cooking. I could feel the tears of great 13 coming to my eyes as he put the dish of food on my bed and gave me a kiss."Happy Mother's Day!"he said.

Now, when Bill calls to wish me well on Mother's Day, the 15 of that morning comes back. We always laugh about it. It has become a special story that we share.

A teacher decided to let her class play a game.She told each child in the class to bring along a plastic bag with a few big potatoes.Each potato was given the name of a person that the child hated，so the number of potatoes that a child put in his or her plastic bag depended on the number of people he or she hated.

When the day came，every child brought some potatoes with the names of the people he or she hated.Some had two potatoes，some three while some had up.to five potatoes.The teacher then told the children to carry the potatoes in the plastic bag with them wherever they went.

Days after days passed，and the children started to complain（抱怨） because of the unpleasant smell let out by the rotten（腐烂的） potatoes.Besides，those having as many as five potatoes also had to carry heavier bags.After weeks，the children were very happy because the game had finally ended.

The teacher asked，"How did you feel while carrying the potatoes with you these days？"The children let out their dissatisfactions and started complaining about the trouble they had to go through having to carry the heavy and smelly potatoes wherever they went.

Then the teacher told them the hidden meaning behind the game."This is exactly the situation when you carry your hatred for somebody inside your heart.The unpleasant smell of hatred will pollute your heart and you will carry it with you wherever you go.If you cannot stand the smell of rotten potatoes for just a short period of time，can you imagine what it is like to have hatred in your heart for your lifetime？"So remember：Forgive those you hate and move on.

Mia goes to bed early and gets up early every day. She reads every night before going to bed. Reading helps her go to bed on time and sleep well. When she wakes up the next morning, she is full of energy. She gets up early so that she can get ready for school on time. In this way she will have a happy day at school.

In Jack's house, Mom tells him to clean himself up to wash germs away. Jack never forgets to brush his teeth when he wakes up and before the sleeps every day. And when he is back from school, he washes his face, too. He also makes his bed right before he bathes every day. That's why he always looks so fresh and clean. He seldom goes to see the doctor.

Bruce loves music because it makes him feel easy. He is shy, and making friends has been1 for him. That's why his mother asked him to take the2 this year. "You'd better not sit there with your headphones on, "she told him.

 One morning, Jackie is riding his bike home. He sees his friend, Ms Weasel. Sheís sad. Her bike has a flat tire (爆胎) but she must go to work now.

 Jackie says, "Ms Weasel, you can use my bike first. Tammy will help fix your bike."

"Thank you so much!" Ms Weasel says.

 "Sharing is caring!" Jackie smiles. Then he walks home:

 When Jackie gets home, he finds a big hole (洞) in his trousers. Oh no! He only has one pair of blue trousers!

"Don't worry!" Tammy comes, "I have many trousers. You can wear mine." That makes Jackie happy.

"Sharing is caring." Tammy says happily.

 Jackie then goes into the kitchen to make beef soup for dinner. Tammy comes with some vegetables. "Wow! What delicious beef soup!" she says.

"Let's have it together" Jackie says. "Sharing is caring!"

 Then someone is at the door. It is Ms Weasel"Thank you for your bike today, Jackie. I have a gift for you!"

"Wow! Honey cake! Our favorite!" Tammy says.

"We just made beef soup. Let's have dinner together." Jackie says.

"Thank you!" Ms Weasel sits down, "Sharing is caring!"

Friends are very important in everyone's life because friends are always there when we need them. It's great to have many friends, and I can't think about my life without my friends. 

My best friend is Lisa. She is one year older than me. Now we are in the same class. She is tall and quite thin. She has long curly hair and blue eyes. I am not so beautiful. Sometimes I wish I could be as beautiful as she is. 

My name's Molly. I am tall enough but a little fat. Lisa and I like doing a lot of things together and talking about different things. She always helps me with my Maths and I sometimes help her with her history. I had to do a report on science once, but I didn't understand what the teacher said. The next day, I read it in front of the class. But the teacher told me that my report was wrong and all my classmates laughed at me. I felt very sorry for myself. Lisa was the only one who didn't laugh at me. She tried to be nicer than anybody else and make me happy. 

I am a shy person and sometimes I feel that people don't understand me. Lisa is friendly and everybody loves her. She is also smart and she can deal with （解决） everything. I am happy to have a friend like her.
