Our first stop was Paris, the capital city. It's one of the most romantic（浪漫的）cities around the world. We walked along the River Seine（塞纳河）. My walk took me past the Notre—Dame Cathedral（巴黎圣母院）and onto the Eiffel Tower（埃菲尔铁塔）. On our way we stopped many times to. look into art galleries（画廊）along the streets, or just to watch people coming and going. 

Later, we left the capital and found more to see. We visited many beautiful villages. We climbed up part of Mont Blanc（勃朗峰）. It's the highest mountain in Western Europe（欧洲）at 4,807 metres. Then we went to the beaches in the south. We enjoyed the lovely sunshine and sand there. 

During the last days, we enjoyed the nice food in France. It was hard to say no to the lovely pancakes On a hot day, we went to a French restaurant and ordered some mussels（贻贝）. They are cooked in white wine（酒）. They are very delicious. 

Traveling in France is fun. It is a good place to travel.

Nowadays, many people would like to go outside for a short trip on weekends. When you go outside, choosing(选择)the right transport(交通工具)is really important. Here is some advice for you.

Walking is good when you travel in a village. You can slow down to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful flowers along the road. That's really relaxing.

Riding a bike is also a good way. Many people usually like traveling by bike. It is not only good for your health but also good for the environment(环境).

Choose public transport. If you travel to a city, try to take public transport. You don't need to worry about parking(停车). It can make you travel in the city easily.

No matter what transport you choose, you must know that safety comes first.

 Sam: It's a beautiful day, Mum. What are we going to do this morning?

 Mum: We're going to the beach by car. We're going swimming there. Then we're going to have some pizza in an Italian restaurant.

 Sam: What are we going to do this afternoon?

 Dad: We're going to see a film. The film is about a special trip.

 Sam& Amy: That sounds great! We will have a good time.

Oliver: Great! I like kind teachers. How about our Chinese teacher?

Sarah: Yes, sometimes.

Ann: Hello, Bill! This is Ann.

Bill: Hi, Ann! How are you today?

Ann: Great! Today is my favourite day! We have computer class. I like computer class.

Bill: Me too. Do you have science class today?

Ann: I like science! But we only have science on Tuesday and Friday.

Bill: How about Monday and Wednesday?

Ann: Monday is nice. We have English, maths and art classes. I don't like Wednesday. We have Chinese and two PE classes on that day. I don't like sports.

Bill: But it's healthy. You should play sports every day. Let's play ping-pong together!
