Seba Stephens is only 10 years old, but he's a very talented musician. He plays drums, bass, guitar and piano. Recently, he got a professional certificate (证书) in music through the Berklee Online program at the famous Berklee College of Music.

Seba and his family live in Memphis, Tennessee-a place famous for music. He grew up with music all around, but he especially loved the drumming of Stewart Copeland from the band The Police. "The songs of The Police are full of so much cool drumming (鼓声)." he says.

Before he turned three, his parents asked him what he wanted for his birthday. "Drums!" he answered.

His parents weren't sure, but after seeing him play the drums at a local music store, they decided he was serious. They bought him a junior drum kit (成套装备). It was a huge step. "He didn't stop playing-ever." says his dad. Everett.

But soon Seba grew upset. He couldn't get his junior drum kit to make the sounds he heard Mr. Copeland making. It was a lesson for the family: good instruments were worth paying for. His parents bought him a professional drum kit and signed him up for lessons.

In just a few months, a drummer, his drum teacher reported that Seba was learning very quickly and needed a higher level of training. He was still four.

He faced challenges-because of his size. "I couldn't see over my drum set," he says. "And I couldn't reach some of the cymbals (铙钹，打击乐器名)." He also had trouble finding a good bass that was small enough.

Seba wanted to start a band, but Everet said he had to "at least be in kindergarten (幼儿园)" to do that. Everett thought he was joking, but Seba actually started a band in kindergarten. By the first grade, he was making money playing music.

One morning, there suddenly comes a loud cry from a village school—a young bear walks into one classroom! 

"Don't be 1 !" says the bear, " I won't hurt (伤害) 2 of you. I just want to learn here."

"Oh! You can 3 ?" Mrs. Green asks in surprise, "But this is a school for children, not 4 ."

"What a 5 bear!" the children love this bear very much, and they cry, "Mrs. Green, please let him6 !"

"You must know, children," says Mrs. Green, "7 follows rules while bears not."

"But I can 8 to follow rules!" the bear cries, "Bears can 9 be good listeners."

"Well," Mrs. Green now says, "you 10 stay here today. But you must follow our rules."

"No problem!" the bear gets excited, "If my animal friends followed rules, we wouldn't 11 so much. That's 12 I'm here—I want to learn your rules."

Then he runs to a seat but suddenly 13 and shouts, "But what if I have a question to ask?"

Mrs. Green smiles, "You must 14 your hand until I speak to you."

The bear's hand 15 goes up. 

"Any questions?" Mrs. Green asks. 

"Yes!" the bear says, "If I follow the rules today, can I come back to school tomorrow?"

All the children laugh, and so does Mrs. Green! 

Who is the greatest teacher in Chinese history? Many people will think of Confucius, whose birthday was September 28. Although he lived over 2, 000 years ago, people still remember and respect him for his contribution to the education today. 

Confucius lived in the State of Lu, which is located in present-day Shandong Province. He lived during the Spring and Autumn Period. He had a hard childhood. His father died when he was only 3. His mother brought him up. As a child, he had to work to help his mother, but young Confucius didn't give up studying. He visited many famous teachers and learned music, history, poetry and sports. 

Later, he became a teacher and started the first public school in Chinese history. At that time only children from noble families could go to school, but Confucius believed everyone should go to school if they wanted to learn. He had about 3, 000 students in his lifetime. 

Today, people still follow Confucius' lessons. He told us that we all should learn something. "When I am with three people, one of them must be better than me in some aspects. I choose their good qualities and follow them. "

He also taught us that thinking is very important in study. "All study but no thinking makes people puzzled. All thinking but no study makes people lazy. "
