Brenda showed great interest in music at a very young age. She had a big dream—to play the 1 in a band. But a big problem lay 2 her way: To be good enough to play in a band, Brenda had to practice a lot, but she lived next door to a lot of old people— many of them liked living in a 3 environment. She knew that the sound of beating drums would really drive them mad.

Brenda was a very good and thoughtful girl. She always tried to find a way of practicing her drums without troubling other people, 4 she had tried playing in the strangest places: a basement, a kitchen and even in a bathroom. But it was no good. There was always someone to be angry with her when she was practicing it.5 , Brenda decided to practice as much as she could. She spent most of her time playing on books and boxes and 6 new places to practice.

One day, while watching a science program on TV, she heard that 7 cannot travel in space, because there's no air. At that moment, Brenda decided to become a musical astronaut.

With a lot of efforts, Brenda built a space bubble. It was a big glass ball which was 8 to a machine and the machine helped draw out all the air inside. All that would be left inside were the drums and a chair. Brenda put on the space suit she had made, 9 the bubble, turned on the machine and then played the drums like a wild child!

It wasn't long before Brenda —"The Musical Astronaut"— became very 10 . So many people came to see her play in her space bubble. Shortly afterwards she came out of the bubble and started giving concerts. Her fame (名声) spread so 11 that the government suggested that she should form part of a special space journey. Brenda was a real musical 12 in the end. She had gone far beyond(超过) her first 13 of playing the drums in a band.

Years later, when people asked her how she had achieved all this, she thought for a moment and said,"If those old people next door didn't 14 so much to me, I wouldn't do so much to find a solution (解决方法) to the drum noise. In that way,15 of these would ever happen."

Taihang Grand Canyon National Forest Park is a natural wonder. It lies in the{#blank#}1{#/blank#} part of Huguan County. There are some sweet springs, silver waterfalls, clear {#blank#}2{#/blank#}and interesting caves there. 

I always remember the journey going there. In the early morning, we began to{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the canyon. At{#blank#}4{#/blank#} , the canyon was silent. With more and more people coming, the canyon became noisy. There were so many trees and we didn't know most of them. Some signs along the paths told us something about different sights. We heard the loud waterfalls far away from them. When we got near, we{#blank#}5{#/blank#} cool at once. The waterfalls were high and pretty. We also visited some other sights and had great fun there.
