Kate's Hobby

My name is Kate. I have always wanted to have my own hobby. Until high school, I didn't get a hobby, although I tried many clubs. Last year, my friend  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (邀请) me to a photo exhibition. At the exhibition, I saw a group of photos by a local  {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (艺术家) who told his life experiences with photos. I suddenly realized that what was  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (珍贵的) than the photo itself was the story behind the photo, and I became interested in photography. 

Since then, I have dreamed  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (发明；创造) fantastic works to tell my own life stories. However, I couldn't  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (付得起) to buy a camera then. Luckily, my grandfather gave me one on my birthday. Then I started taking photos everywhere. I put my photos on the  {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (架子) in my room. My photos have kept my memories of wonderful old days. Taking photos has also become another way for me  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (交流) with the world. 

Through {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (每日的) practice, my photography skills have improved greatly. So far my photos  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (赢得) many prizes and I'm really proud of myself. {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (也许) I will hold my own photo exhibition one day.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith have a food store in our town. When people go to their store, they' re polite (有礼貌的) and {#blank#}1{#/blank#} to them. So, they have many friends and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} friends often go to their store to buy things or just to talk with them. 

It was a Saturday evening. At dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Smith talked about the next days mountain trip. For the trip, they needed to get up {#blank#}3{#/blank#} than before to catch (赶上) the train in the morning. After dinner, they started cooking some food for the trip. At that time, a few friends came to {#blank#}4{#/blank#} them. Mr. and Mrs. Smith had to stop to talk {#blank#}5{#/blank#} them. They talked for a long time. Mrs. Smith looked at the clock and it was eleven. Mrs. Smith was anxious(焦虑的){#blank#}6{#/blank#}  it wasn't polite to ask them to leave. She thought for a few minutes and got an {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. She said to Mr. Smith" Oh, it's 11 p. m. ! You need to stop {#blank#}8{#/blank#} right now, dear! Our friends are anxious to go home. Mr. Smith heard this and said sorry to their friends. Their friends knew it was too late and {#blank#}9{#/blank#} soon.
