I like sports. I can do many sports. I can play football. I can play basketball. I can ride a bike. I can skateboard. I can fly a kite. I can run. But I can't play table tennis.

We have a new classmate. Her name's Jill. She's ten years old. She lives near(在……附近)our school. She walks (步行) to school every day. She likes reading. She can play football well. She can dance too. She likes dancing. 

Why Snails Move So Slowly

Long ago, Sammy the snail carried no house. He moved quickly. One day, Sammy wanted to go to watch the sea. It was a long way away. On the way, it rained. "Oops, I should take an umbrella. It will rain again." Then, Sammy went back and took an umbrella. Later, he hurt his tail. "Oh, I should take some bandages." Then, Sammy went back and took some bandages. Suddenly, a bear came by and almost stepped（踩）on him. "Hey, watch out! I should take a flashlight. " Then, Sammy went back and took a flashlight. "I may feel hungry." So he took some bread and cake. "I may feel thirsty." So he took some water and juice. "I may feel tired." So he took a pillow（枕头）and a sofa. "l may feel bored." So he took balls, books, and puppets（木偶）. Sammy worried more and more. There were so many things to take. "Why not take the house with me?" Now Sammy the snail carries his house every day. Thus, he moves slowly. 

When the fox first sees the lion, he runs away quickly.

The second time, he stops at a safe distance（安全距离）and watches him pass by（路过）.

The third time they come near. They look at each other. The fox asks the lion how to get to the ____. "Well, you're on Siping Street. Turn left at the park. Now, you're on Nanjing Road. Then turn right at the cinema. You are on Zhongshan Street. Go straight on. You can see it in front of you. ""OK! Thank you so much!"

At last, the fox gets to the place. He thinks the lion isn't scary（可怕的）. It's kind and friendly. Then they become good friends.

 Yesterday was Sunday. Lingling visited her grandparents. Lingling washed clothes for them. She cleaned the room. She played chess with her grandpa. She went shopping with her grandma. They bought some apples, bananas, meat, milk, biscuits and some cakes. They had a good time. When she went home, she was very tired.
