The Spring Festival(春节) is the best time for Chinese people in a year. People like to stay together {#blank#}1{#/blank#} families. Parents{#blank#}2{#/blank#} something for the new year. They make different kinds of food, such as dumplings, meat balls and fish. All these stand for(代表) the best wishes for the next year. Children play fireworks(烟花), put on new clothes and make{#blank#}3{#/blank#}for the new year. They also get red pockets from their{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. What great fun!

In China, we have many festivals. The Spring Festival is my favourite. At the Spring Festival, we have a big family dinner. We have peanuts and sweets. We also have fish, chicken and some fruit. We have all kinds of (各种各样的) dumplings, too. We say "Happy New Year!" to each other. All the people are very happy.

Hello, my name is Lily. My favorite festival is Chinese Spring Festival Every Spring Festival, I always have a big dinner with my family. I often go out to visit my friends and talk with them. It's a lot of fun. However（然而）, I didn't have a good time this Spring Festival because of COVID-19（新冠肺炎）. I had to（不得不）stay at home. I couldn't（不能）play outside. And I couldn't visit friends, either（也）. My mother and father had to put on a mask（口罩） if they went to the supermarket. When I was bored，I could only call my friends. Sometimes I cooked some food with my mother. Sometimes I did some exercise at home with my father. Now lam so happy because I can go back to school to study.
