I'm not much of a crier most of the time. But {#blank#}1{#/blank#} when I was reading a book on a plane, I started crying. Of course, it came as a big surprise when tears came up, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't {#blank#}2{#/blank#} myself.

    Oh no, not this now. I thought to myself. But even as the thought entered my brain. I felt the {#blank#}3{#/blank#} hot drop of salty water coming down my face. I put my head down, hoping that I could go on reading.

    In fact, the harder I tried, the more tears pushed their way out of my eyes. You could guess how surprised the man next to me looked.

    My head {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in shame. He must think I was crazy. Maybe I could turn towards him, hold up the cover of the book and say in my crying voice. "I'm sorry, sir. It's just a really good book!" But I didn't, say anything. Instead, I just put my head back against the {#blank#}5{#/blank#} and let the tears run. Do you know what decision I made while I was crying? My decision was that it was OK if he thought I was crazy. I preferred to be crazy instead of being the kind of person who wouldn't cry when the situation called for it, or who wouldn't let {#blank#}6{#/blank#} feel anything at all.

    I've been that girl who has spent so much time trying to make sure people didn't think f was crazy. But now I don't want to be that girl any more —that bored and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} girl. I'd rather {#blank#}8{#/blank#} this girl who is able to forgive (原谅), love and act, even if it means being disappointed or being hurt again and again.

The winter vacation is coming. During the vacation, you can do what you like and prepare for the new term. You' ll enjoy your winter vacation with the help of the following advice.

▲Take exercise. After studying hard for months, you must be bored and tired. Health comes the first to us. So taking exercise is the most important thing. Swimming and running are wonderful ways of exercising. All kinds of exercise are good for your health.

▲Learn some basic(基础的) life skills(技能). You will grow up and leave your parents one day. You should learn some necessary and useful life skills such as washing clothes and cooking. At the same time, you should help your parents with housework to say thanks to them.

▲Go travelling. The world is a book. Travelling is so interesting. Have you made your own plan? If not, do it now. During the trip, you will learn something new. While learning about different cultures, you will also make a lot of friends.

▲Enjoy the time with family members. Family members play an important role in your life. They give you love and care all the time. Don't forget to spend some time together with them. You will find it great to stay with them, talking about dreams, hobbies or anything you like.

 As long as you follow the advice mentioned above, you will have a wonderful winter vacation.

Here I'm going to share my ideas of the gardens. In the {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(底部) of my heart, I've always believed that developing a beautiful garden requires more than just being

There are many different kinds of birds all over the world. Do you know the bald eagle(秃鹰)? It's very interesting that the bald eagle is not really bald. It has feathers on the head. Bald eagles are large birds. As birds, they can live for a long time.

 Bald eagles like eating fish. People often see them flying down from the sky and catching fish out of the water quickly. They like living near open water because they can easily find fish there. Bald eagles also eat some small animals. Bald eagles stay in most parts of North America. They are in the southern states and Mexico all the way to Canada and Alaska. However, a large number of bald eagles live in Alaska and Canada.

 The mother bald eagle lays one to three eggs each year. Both parents take care of the eggs. After about35 days, the baby birds break out of the eggs. The young eagles are ready to leave home for food when they are about 13 weeks old.

 Hunting and pollution made bald eagles in the United States in danger. Some strict rules to stop hunting the eagles and to cut pollution have allowed the bald eagles to come back.

 All in all, people should try their best to help protect the birds. They are human beings' good friends. Look up in the sky the next time you are out in nature. You might see one of these wonderful birds in the sky.

One day, a crow (乌鸦) flew past a lake. Looking at the lake, he could hardly1 his eyes—he saw the most beautiful animal he knew! It was a swan (天鹅) whose feathers (羽毛) were as white as snow. She was enjoying the sunshine on the2 lake. And it3 that the other birds around also liked to stay with her. 

When the crow looked at his own black feathers, he was a little sad. "Why can the swan have such4 feathers, but not me?" said the crow. "What should I5 my feathers?" He thought about it over and over again. 

Then, the crow decided to do something to6 white feathers, too. From that day on, the crow began to live like the swan. He7 his home from the forest to the lake. He also started to eat water plants like the swan. He tried his best to learn to talk, fly and dance with the swans, just to8 like this nice creature. He9 his feathers so much that he washed them every day, 10 that they would turn white some day. He11 went to different rivers and ponds to wash his feathers because he thought the water in this lake was not good enough for his great plan. 12 he washed them so hard, his feathers were still black. 

As he only ate living things in the water, he soon got thinner and thinner. A few days later, the crow died 13 . So don't always follow14 , or you will be the one who gets hurt. Everyone is15 in the world. Just be yourself!
