Americans think much about time. From childhood they learn to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} time. They are taught to be on time to go to school, to work and to do everything. When they are having a good time, they time goes easily. When a person is dying, they say he is living on borrowed time.

    Time is money. Time is knowledge. Time is {#blank#}2{#/blank#}in America. A working American has to work hard for eight hours a day or forty hours a week. This is the working time. In his free time, he also works hard for more money. Even on Saturday and Sunday he also works hard as {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. In the street you can hardly see a man walking{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. They walk very fast. In fact, they are running.

    They love time because time can bring them money and lots of things.{#blank#}5{#/blank#}sometimes they also hate time, because they feel they have become servants of the clock.

You're chatting with a friend and want to suggest a good book. All of a sudden, you can't remember the title! The harder you try to remember, . the more it eludes (使不记得) you. We've all been there, and everyone knows how hard it is to remember all the information in your head. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

● Repeat important information out loud. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} When you repeat something out loud, you aren't technically memorizing it. You're actually creating a pattern (方式) and sound that will make the information easier to remember in the future.

● {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Turn the TV off while you study and put down the phone while you're driving. When you do different activities at the same time, your attention is divided, which will make it hard to process (处理) the information necessary to remember what you're doing.

● Take notes and write things down. Taking notes will help you memorize the information, even if you never look at your notes again! {#blank#}4{#/blank#} So you'd better use pens and paper if you really want to remember your friend's birthday or an important meeting.

● Take a short walk. Studies show that taking a walk will increase your memory. If you're trying to remember something, spend a few minutes walking around your neighborhood to see if it helps. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} At best, you'll remember the name of that life-changing book from primary school!

Be curious and be willing to learn new things and skills. Moving to a new working environment，you may need to deal with things that don't belong to your own field. In such a case，people who are more willing to learn new things can meet new requirements in their job. 

Have a good sense of judgment on important things. Learning or working in a new environment，you need to have a good sense of judgment when you join a discussion or make a decision. You should consider what is right，and look for long﹣term goals. 

Be confident when talking to people. When you go out and meet people，it is important to look confident. For example，if you are going to an interview，what can you do?Before you walk in，think to yourself，walk in holding your head high and smile. Remember to look other people in the eye—it's the key to creating a connection with people. Soon，you will feel as confident as you look. 

Set clear goals and learn. When working together with others，it is important that you have a clear goal and a working plan to achieve it. Let people know what you support. You need to find out which ideas can really unite people and then express those ideas clearly. Also，treat your team members respectfully as equals. 

Most people would stay away from bees while meeting them. However, if your goal (目标)is to grow a{#blank#}1{#/blank#} and productive (丰收的) garden, you will want to bring on bees. 

How to attract (吸引) bees? 

Plant! Plant! Plant! Plant not only {#blank#}2{#/blank#} but also flowers. Bees are attracted by colours and purple, yellow, white and blue are their{#blank#}3{#/blank#}. If possible, you should be careful to plant different flowers for bees to choose from. Be sure to plant some flowers in sunny areas. Bees like warm and bright places better than cool and dark ones. 

Another part of learning how to attract bees is to always leave a place for wild grass or flowers near your garden. This is where bees can live comfortably and{#blank#}4{#/blank#}. You can also design (设计) a bee house for the bees to live in. To do this, you can use several pieces of bamboo tied{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. Place the house close to the ground because bees prefer living close to the ground. Preparing such a place can make sure that they will enjoy and never want to leave.

Be sure to leave water around for them to drink. Once the bees are there and active, you will have a fruitful garden. 

Many people in Western countries think that everyone in China knows how to do Kung Fu This is not a fact (事实), of course. But it is {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(truly) that Kung Fu is a big part of Chinese culture (文化).

Like many people, I {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(one) learned about Kung Fu by watching the movies. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(act) like Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan made Kung Fu popular. People {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(begin) to know them by their acting in the movies.

However, I started to feel interested in Kung Fu because {#blank#}5{#/blank#}a hip-hop(嘻哈乐) group, Wu-Tang Clan. It is one of my favorite rap groups, and it is one of {#blank#}6{#/blank#}big) hip-hop groups in history. They often rap about different kinds of Kung Fu.

I do not practice Kung Fu. {#blank#}7{#/blank#}, the ideas behind Kung Fu are interesting. There is a saying by Bruce Lee that I {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(real) like. "Be formless (无定形的. . . . . ) . . . shapeless (不成形的. . . . ), like water, " he once said. He meant to tell each of us that we should change {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(we) when we face difficulties. "I think this is {#blank#}10{#/blank#}excellent way to live a life.

Some kids love computer games and spend too much time on them. They often hear Mom or Dad shout at them, "Enough! Turn off the computer and find some other things to do!"

Their parents are right. Why? If you're always playing computer games, you won't get enough exercise, so you may become fat. And if you spend too much time playing computer games, you'll have less time to make friends or do your homework. What's more, if you play computer games often, you may get angry easily and fight with others often. 

But here's the good news: Playing computer games for a short time can be OK. Just choose (选择) some good games and spend no more than two hours a day. Play the games for your age. You can play with your mom, dad or even your grandma together. It's a good way to relax.
