In the morning, we go to the Hongxing Home on foot. In the Hongxi ng Home, we put litter （垃圾）into different bags. Everyone works hard.

At 12:00, we take The subway to the park. We have a picnic for lunch in the park. After that, we talk and play under the trees.

At 2:00 p.m. , we start to clean the park. Some pick up litter. Some clean the roads, and some water the flowers and plants.

At 5:00 in the after-noon, we finish our work. We walk to a bookstore to buy some word books. Then we go to a restaurant by bus.

Seven years ago，Mike was only five years old.He could read，but he could not write.He liked reading comics best.

Now he can do many things.He likes sports.He likes football best.He plays it quite well.He often plays football with his father，Mr Brown.

         Sue，Bill, John and I wanted to see a film this morning. But when we got to the cinema, there weren't any tickets. In the afternoon, we had a picnic in the park. We all had fun. But later, it began to rain hard. We didn't have the umbrella so we quickly packed our food and rushed to the store nearby. We were all wet. 

          This afternoon, I had a picnic with Sue, Bill and Ann in the park. The weather was nice. We played games there. We had a great time. But 1had a maths lesson at three thirty, so I had to say goodbye to them. 

          At about 4:00 in the afternoon, it rained cats and dogs. Sue, Ann and l stayed in the store nearby until the rain stopped. Then Sue found her watch was lost. We helped her look for her watch. It took us along time. At last, we found it near the lake. We were tired and went back home. 

         Maybe because I wore wet clothes in the afternoon, now I have a fever and I'm in the hospital. The doctor gave me a check-up and asked me to take some medicine just now（刚才). What a terrible day!

Wang Yan is a 22-year-old girl. She is young and polite. She is a nurse in an eye hospital. She goes to work on foot. She usually works 10 hours a day. Sometimes she works 13 hours.She is busy but happy, because she can help others.

Liu Tao is a cook. He is from Guangdong, China. He is good at making Cantonese

cuisine(广东菜).He works in a restaurant and he always wears a chef hat. He is glad that

the customers like eating his dishes.

Wang Wei is tall and strong. He is a lifeguard. He works at a children's swimming club. His job is to protect all the kids in the swimming pool. He likes his job very much.

Mrs Ma is a tailor. She works at a tailor shop. She is good at making clothes. She is

helpful. She usually mends(缝补)clothes for her neighbours on the weekend.

Mother Duck has four babies— three small yellow ducklings  (小鸭) and one big and ugly(丑陋的) duckling.

The three yellow ducklings play together. They are happy. The ugly   duckling is sad. He swims away.  

In winter, the ugly duckling feels cold. But he has no home.

It is spring now. The ugly duckling looks into the water. He is a beautiful swan! He is happy.
