It's Sunday morning. Everyone in Mr. White's family is very busy. Mr. White is washing his car in the garden. Mrs. White is cooking in the kitchen. Their children May and Ken are cleaning the house. Their dog Brownie is busy, too. What is it doing? It's sleeping.

    Today is Saturday. In the morning, Xiaoyong is sleeping, but the phone rings. He wakes up from his dream. He gets up and goes to the park near his home. He is doing exercise, but it starts to rain. He has to go home. He is doing his homework at home, but the bell rings.

    In the afternoon, Xiaoyong is riding his bike, but suddenly(突然)a little dog runs to him. He falls off his bike. He is so sad.

    Helen was seven years old, and one day one of her teeth began hurting. She cried in her class at school. Her teacher said kindly, “What's the matter, Helen?” “One of my teeth hurts,” answered Helen.“Tell your mother about it," said the teacher,“and then go and see the dentist.”

    That afternoon Helen told her mother about her teeth, and her mother took her to the dentist later. The dentist examined the tooth and then he said to Helen,“It' s very bad. I'm going to pull it out, and then you are going to get a new tooth. It will be as nice as the others next year.” He pulled the tooth out.

    The next day Helen's teacher asked her about the tooth. She said to her,“Does it still hurt, Helen?”“I don't know. You'd better(最好) ask the dentist.” Helen answered.“Why?”the teacher said.“Because the dentist has got it," Helen answered.

    There is a frog (青蛙). He lives in a well (井) and he never goes out of the well. He thinks the sky is as big as the mouth of the well.

    One day a crow (马狗) comes to the well. He sees the frog and say, "Frog, let's have a talk." Then the frog asks, "Where are you from?" "I fly from the sky," the crow says. The frog feels surprised (惊讶) and says, "The sky is only as big as the mouth of the well. How do you fly from the sky?"

    The crow says, "The sky is very big. You always stay in the well, so you don't know the world is big."

    The frog says, "I don't believe(相信)." But the crow says, "You can come out and have a look by yourself." So the frog comes out from the well. He is very surprised. How big the world is!
