Birds like rice. Cats like milk. But my cat doesn't like milk. He likes fish. He eats too much. I say to my cat, "Don't eat too much." He says, "But I'm hungry!"

This is a dog. The eyes are brown. The nose is black. The mouth is red. The ears are yellow. The body is brown. The legs are green.

The police do many things for us.They help keep us and our things {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.They go round the town to sec that everything is all right.They get round the town in many ways.Some of them walk or go by car.In the big cities some of the police ride on horses.It is strange to see these {#blank#}2{#/blank#}in the street.Some police stand at {#blank#}3{#/blank#}.They tell the cars when to go and when to stop.They help children {#blank#}4{#/blank#}the street.Without the police，our streets would not be safe.The police do a good job.We {#blank#}5{#/blank#}them.And we should thank them for a job well done.

Today was my first day in England and I learned something interesting about the weather here.It was{#blank#}1{#/blank#} in the morning.The weather report said the temperature was only 15℃，so I{#blank#}2{#/blank#} lots of clothes before I went to my new school.But when I was outside，the weather{#blank#}3{#/blank#}.The clouds went away，the sky turned blue and the sun{#blank#}4{#/blank#}.I was so{#blank#}5{#/blank#}!

Jim is a student. He lives far from his school. He gets up very early in the morning. 

He goes to the subway station（车站） by bike. It takes him about ten minutes（分钟） . Then he takes the subway to the station near his school. Usually he stays on the subway for thirty minutes. He often reads books on the subway. After ten minutes' walk, he gets to his school. Every day it takes（花费） Jim a lot of time to go to school. But he thinks it's good exercise and he enjoys his time on the way to school.

I'm Jack. I'm visiting Beijing with my parents. I make a new friend. Her name is Huahua.She has big eyes and short black hair. She is very kind.It is the Mid-Autumn Festival tomorrow. Huahua  and her family invite me to their home. We will make moon cakes and watch the moon together. Her grandmother will tell me the story about Chang' e. I think I will have a good time.
