Jenny is my cousin. She looks very {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(可爱的). She has two big eyes and two small {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(耳朵). She usually wears a light green {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(毛线衣). She can do many things well.

She can sing well and her voice {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(听起来) nice. Also, she is good at cooking. She can make many kinds of food, such as {#blank#}5{#/blank#}(小甜饼;曲奇饼) and bread. They always {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(有……的气味) great. What's more, the bread tastes very {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(软的;柔软的). I often can't wait to have a {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(尝试) as soon as she makes some. I like to put strawberry {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(果酱) on it to eat. In fact, I have a sweet tooth, so they are my {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(最喜欢的人或事).

All in all, I am glad to have such a wonderful cousin.

Last Sunday, Claire's dentist told her the bad news:she had to start wearing braces (牙箍). Some of her teeth were not growing in straight. They might bring problems to her other teeth. 

Claire was not happy with the news. She thought of all the food she couldn't eat. She thought she would have a different smile. She did not want to have something different from others. 

The big day came, and Claire made her way to the dentist's office. Claire watched a TV show when the dentist put braces on her teeth. She tried to think of something fun so that she did not get scared. It seemed to take forever(要花很长时间) for the dentist to finish . . . . In the end, the dentist told her to sit up and gave her a mirror. 

Claire looked at herself in the mirror. Her smile was new, but she didn't like it. Claire's mom took her to get ice-cream to make her feel better. She just had to get used to(适应) the braces. It would all be worth(值得) it because she would have a beautiful smile two years later!

Sometimes, my mum likes to cook breakfast food for dinner. I remember one night when she made pancakes, hams and biscuits. All of the 1 was great except the biscuits. They were. not. 2 and were very badly burned. They 3 pieces of black charcoal. （木炭）. 

But my dad didn't seem to mind. I watched him 4 his biscuits happily, not seeming to care if they tasted bad. My mum said 5 for burning the biscuits, but Dad said. "You know. I like eating burned biscuits every once in a while!"

Later last night, before I went to bed. I 6 my dad if he really liked burned biscuits. He explained that my mum worked 7 all day, and that she was quite tired by the time she cooked our dinner. 

It was then that I understood 8 he told Mum that he liked eating the burned biscuits. Everyone has faults（过错）. 9 can do everything right all the time. Accepting other's faults is one of the keys to building 10 relationships. If we don't accept these things, we'll never enjoy true love and understanding.
