    I like riding my bike. Though it is not very new, but it is my best friend. I find very convenient to go anywhere with a bike. Riding gives me not only exercises but also pleasure. I use my bike most in summer when the weather is warm and dry. It can be very unpleasant in winter that it is cold and wind is blowing heavily. It can also be very dangerously. Of course I will be very careful in my bike. In fact, accidents are not the only problem. One day I went to school and come back to find the front wheel was missed. Worse still, it was the long walk to the repairer's shop.

    Yesterday was my mother birthday. My father and I planned to give him a surprise. In the morning, like usual, my father and mother went to work but I went to school at eight o'clock. My mother seemed to have forgotten her birthday. At four o'clock in the afternoon my father bought  a bunch of flowers as well a lot of good food my mother likes to eat. I bought my mother large and beautiful birthday cake. When my mother got home, she was greatly surprised by what that she saw. All that we had done made her very happily. After supper, I asked my mother to sit down and watched TV. My father began to clean the floor and I set out to doing the washing-up.

    If you want to be a inventor, you must have a plan design to solve a particular problem. This is not as easily as it sounds. Many idea, developed after weeks of research, may not prove successful. Many unsuccessful approaches rejected, but only the most creative and successful ones are welcomed. Each idea has tested by you will need to be improved until it lead you to a new invention. Once this hard work has been completing and the patent committee has approved your design, you will find your invent adopted on all sides.

    On September 1941, the Nazi army was near St Petersburg．This was a time which the two country were at war. Before the Nazis could get the summer palace, the Russians were able to remove some furniture and small art objects from the Amber Room．However, some of the Nazis secret stole the room itself．In less than two days 100,000 pieces were put inside twenty-seven wooden boxes. There is no doubt if the boxes were then put on a train for Konigsberg. After that, what happens to the Amber Room remains a mystery．

    Recently, the Russians and Germans were built a new Amber Room at the summer palace. By study old photos of the former Amber Room, they have made the new one to look like the old one．

    As a high school students, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but learn more about other cultures. There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term. They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise a language. I seize every chance to talk them. However, I sometime find they are not so interesting in what I say, and it's hard for I to choose a suitable topic.  I would like some advices about how to communicate proper with foreigners, and what topics to pick.

    It happened in last weekend. Jenny pulled over onto the sides of a New Mexico road and was suffered a panic attack when a minivan full of kids pulled over. A women got out and asked if she was OK. "No," she said. Then she told her what has happened: she was delivering books for a publishing company. Their next stop was way, way up that long, winding and, to her, very dangerously road. She didn't think she could do that. "I'll deliver the books for you," the woman said. She was a local, and the roads were something for her. Jenny accepted offer and never forgot the simple kind of the stranger.
