    My father took me out camping for the first time when I was seven. He wanted teach me about animals, insects and trees. My uncles all come along with bows and arrows for hunting.

    One evening at sunset, we sat by the fire, have our barbecue. Just then a bird was flying over us. My uncles immediate jumped up and shot their arrows on the bird. Neither of the arrows hit the target. Suddenly the arrows was flying down at us from the sky, that looked like rain! We ran to escape but fortunately no one was injured.     Beijing attract tourists all the year around; the best time to visit Beijing is in October. I pay a visit to Beijing for the first time on last Friday. I was there for only one day. Therefore, I was able to see lots of interesting sites and I did have great funs. Hardly had I arrived at the train station then I rented a bike. I rode around the city where colorful ancient temples decorated the streets, among that my favorite site was the Imperial Palace. Night falling and had to work the next day, I had quick dinner in a restaurant and then took the high-speed rail back home. I am dying to return soon for a long visit.

    My family took an amazed trip to the northwest last summer. At the first, we flew to Lanzhou but then visited the famous Iron Bridge there. We also tasted Lanzhou beef noodles, which were the most delicious noodles I had never had. Two days late, we went to the Mogao caves on the Silk Road. That impressed me most was the fantastic wall paintings. Finally, we reach our final destination，the Qinghai Lake, surrounded by mountains. The scenery was unbelievable beautiful. We found volunteers collecting rubbishes along the bank and we joined them too. Only then I realize we could make a difference to our environment.

    There is a famous song called Never Say Never, which is one of my favorite song. The lyrics(歌词) tell people no matter what happens, never give it up. And then you will be successful. I keep believe those words. But last week. I watch a TV show in which the host asked people learn to give up sometimes. He explained that he met a boy who were not good at maths but extreme skilled in drawing. Therefore, he suggested the boy give up the major and learnt drawing. And now, the boy is the famous painter. It proves that giving up is not always a bad thing, because your potential is which really gives you the chance to succeed.
