Jane is a 16-year-old high school student in the United States. American Teenager magazine asked her about her {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. Jane has a lot of good habits. She always exercises and she reads books every day. Also, she usually drinks juice and she hardly ever {#blank#}2{#/blank#} late. However, she has some bad habits, too. She always watches TV for {#blank#}3{#/blank#} than two hours a day, and she sometimes eats hamburgers. Her parents are not very happy because she hardly ever helps with housework and she never goes to the {#blank#}4{#/blank#} for teeth cleaning. She says she is {#blank#}5{#/blank#}! 

Children today have many things to play with. They can watch television, surf {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Internet, or play video games. But what do you think children {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(use) to do for fun long ago? They read books. Some of you might ask, "Are books {#blank#}3{#/blank#}(real) fun?" Believe it or not, books provide many things that televisions or computers cannot. Since books use only words {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(tell) a story, they can improve your imagination. You can picture the characters(人物) and background in your head {#blank#}5{#/blank#} you can also imagine how the characters feel. 

The words and sentences that are used in storytelling are also very interesting and usually cannot {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(find) on television or on websites. They are sometimes so beautiful and touching that they can bring tears {#blank#}7{#/blank#} your eyes. Books also help us to have {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(deep) and better thoughts. As we continue to read, we can ask {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(we) questions and try to find answers. These are some of the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(reason) why books are so fun to read.
