Do you know how chocolate is made？Recently my class had a field trip to the Cadbury Chocolate Factory in Toronto，Canada.

We were divided into 10 groups and visited an old building.The guide first explained the history of the factory.Then we got some earbuds（耳塞） to protect our ears from the noise of the machines.We also needed to wear disposable（一次性的） lab clothes and hairnets（发网）

After these preparations，we went upstairs and entered the chocolate﹣making area.The floor was filled up with many machines.Each machine has a different job.The whole floor only has two people working，because machines do most of the work.Next，and there were more than1，000 people working in the factory.But now the factory is very different.It's amazing how technology is changing people's life.

Later，we saw the chocolate﹣making process.We got a cocoa bean，some powdered（粉状的），kind of like dark chocolate.It is the raw material used to make chocolate.The powdered chocolate tasted good already.It is a combination of cocoa bean，milk and sugar.The final product tasted delicious.

Finally，we bought some chocolate at a shop in the factory.It was at a very low price.I learned about the chocolate industry during the field trip.And I also realized how important technology is.

Why are we afraid of change?{#blank#}2{#/blank#} After all, who knows what new dangers might appear? However, change is also the only way of development. Nobody can stop it in life. Luckily, our brains become stronger when meeting the unknown. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}To be more imaginative and creative, you should look for and find environments you have no experience with.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} For example, try a new restaurant, or go to a play or a concert you normally wouldn't attend. Small changes can help you gradually get used to uncertainty (不确定). So when bigger things happen. You'll be more fully prepared for them.

People who fear change often stick to a certain lifestyle. They believe they can control the future by doing so.{#blank#}5{#/blank#} If you can move from just accepting it to actively finding it out and dealing with it, you will be successful.

Bill was a boy of 15. His parents went to gambling (赌博) day and night. 

Nobody cared about him. He always failed in his exams. So his teachers didn't like him, nor did his classmates play with him. Bill often slept in class because his heart was not in school. He almost gave himself up. 

One day, Miss Jones, a new teacher, came to Bill's class. She was a smiling, beautiful woman. Bill was in love! For the first time in his young life, he couldn't take his eyes off his teacher. 

It was Miss Jones' class. She was asking a question. "I'd like the smartest boy to answer my question. " Then she said loudly, "Bill, please!" Bill was surprised. And he stood up without a word. 

"Just try it! I believe you can!" After school, Miss Jones had a long talk with Bill. She told him that she cared about him and believed in him. 

Bill thought a lot that evening. From then on, he arrived at school on time every day. Miss Jones helped him with his homework in the afternoon. She even cooked delicious food for him. She told Bill, "Nothing is impossible if you put your heart in it. "

Later, Miss Jones gave another exam. Bill did it with all his heart. He was very excited to find that he had passed the exam. Now Bill discovered that not only could he learn, but he could do it well. A change took place in Bill's heart. 

You see, one teacher saved one boy. It's simple, really.

I'm Susie Green, a student at No. 3 Middle School in Shanghai. Ms. Liu is our math teacher. She is very nice. All the students like her. Heidi Smith is my good friend here. She enjoys reading books very much. And she is also good at singing and dancing. We love Chinese classical poetry(中国古诗) very much. So both of us join the Chinese club in our school and we want to talk about the poetry about autumn(秋天) next Friday.

What's more, the Chinese corner(汉语角) is also my favorite at school because I can practice my Chinese by communicating(交流) with other students there. We always have a great time telling interesting stories together.
