Do you have a beautiful dream? I know almost everyone1his/her own dreams. The dreams are veryimportant2 everyone for they can make people3 harder.

I am studying in a school now. My dreams is4 ateacher in Western China. Many children there want to go to school5 they can't. Their families are very poor andthe parents don't have enough6tosend their children to school. But going to school and studying is the only7 tochange their life. Teachers are greatly needed there, so I want to be a teacherto help them. I8 kind to my students and make friends withthem. I will give them love and teach9 how to be a useful person. I think it is agreat10 in the world.

September 28th is very important in China. Many people celebrate the day{#blank#}1{#/blank#} it is the birthday of the great teacher Confucius (孔子). 

Confucius{#blank#}2{#/blank#} born in 551BC in China. He loved to learn. He thought about many things, and he wasn't afraid to ask {#blank#}3{#/blank#}. He studied the Six Arts, and he became really good at {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. 

Confucius wanted to share the information {#blank#}5{#/blank#}everyone. He thought they could become better people with education. So he became a {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. 

Confucius{#blank#}7{#/blank#} people's ideas about life. He believed that everyone could be{#blank#}8{#/blank#} if they received an education and worked hard. {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, in his opinion, education was not just information from books. Confucius said a lot of things. His{#blank#}10{#/blank#} put them in a book to share with everyone. 

Aunt Ann is a police officer. After breakfast, Ann puts on her badge (微章) and goes to work. Ann and her partner, Jim, are on duty today. At the police station, the sergeant (巡佐) talks to them. "Last night, a bear ran away from the zoo!" he says. "Be careful!"

They pick up the keys to their patrol car (巡逻车) and drive around the west side. At the corer of Main and State, there is a traffic jam because the traffic light is broken. Ann stops her car and tells the drivers when to stop and when to go. Jim calls the station about the broken traffic light on Main and State. Soon, the station calls Traffic Repair.

In the afternoon, they walk down Elm Street. Everything looks quiet. Suddenly, Ann sees a little boy crying. The boy's name is Adam. He gets off the bus at the wrong bus stop. Ann shows him her badge so he knows she is a police officer. "Where do you live?" Ann asks. Adam does not remember, but he brings his ID card with him. He opens his backpack and shows Ann the address on the card. Jim calls the station and the station calls Adam's house. Ann and Jim drive Adam home.

A moment later, a call comes in from the station. "Check out the strange noise at 203 Cedar Drive!" Ann and Jim are on the way. At 203 Cedar Drive, the rubbish bin is turned over, Ann looks in the bin. It is the bear that ran away from the zoo. Ann closes the bin quickly and asks Jim to call the zoo. Two zoo keepers arrive to pick up the bear. Soon everyone is safe and so is the bear.
    Ann and Jim go back to the station. After work, they hand in their keys and write their police report.

Most of us like to know where we are and where we're going. It can feel strange to be 1 . The words "being lost" make us think of a dark and scary wood or street, 2  that's not always the case. 

Once we were on holiday in Venice. Dad planned to go out to take photos early the next morning. Mum wasn't 3 , but I would go with him. That's only because he 4  I could have the biggest bowl of Italian ice cream if I did. 5  else would I get up so early?

We left the hotel and started walking in the 6  streets the next day. When the sun came up, Dad started taking photos and I 7  him. 

After about an hour, I turned to Dad and asked, "Where are we?" He said, "I have no idea. "I immediately felt a bit 8 , but Dad just laughed and said, "We're lost!"I told him to 9  his map or phone. He said, "I only brought the 10 . Come on, let's enjoy being lost!" He laughed again. 

His laughter 11  me and made me feel safe. I began to 12  that we were lost, and just started watching and taking in everything that was happening around me. 13 , after about four hours of walking around, we were back. Mum asked anxiously(担心地), "Where have you been?"I said with a big 14 , "We got lost!"

These days we 15  get lost with so many things around us — maps, GPS, apps on our phones and so on. But Dad showed me that being lost can sometimes simply be something to enjoy. 

Last night, when I was preparing for my English exam in my bedroom, I suddenly heard a loud noise. The glass on the edge (边缘) of the desk {#blank#}1{#/blank#} onto the floor. The glass was {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. The light in the room was shaking. I looked out of the window and found the whole building was shaking too. I realized (意识到) that a(n) {#blank#}3{#/blank#} had happened. I{#blank#}4{#/blank#} myself that I must be brave and stay calm and try not to cry. I crawled (爬) and hid myself under the bed. Several minutes later, the building didn't shake any more. So I crawled out and ran out of the building as quickly as I could. Or I couldn't {#blank#}5{#/blank#} what would happen. What a terrible experience!

 Throughout her life, Mckenna Reitz was known for her long, thick brown hair. The 33-year-old mom's hair1 falling out after the birth of her second daughter. She went to many hospitals, but 2 could stop her hair falling. By December of 2015, she had no hair and was told that she had alopecia(秃头症). 

 Mckenna was 3 . She spent months visiting doctors and trying anything to regrow her hair. She wouldn't leave the house without a 4 . Mckenna says she couldn't 5 look in the mirror after her hair fell out. She could hardly get out of bed in the morning, but it was her young daughters who finally6 her out of her fear. 

 Understanding that alopecia is genetic(遗传) and could someday happen to them too, she decided to 7 her daughters that hair loss is not the end of the 8 . "I needed them to understand that if it does happen to them, they could 9 it, just like they saw their mom do. " she explained. 

 From then on, she stopped trying to make her hair grow back and started to 10 herself as she is. She stopped wearing hats in public. 11 she learned to love public and then herself. She felt 12 now. My mom always said to me, "Life gives the 13 people the hardest challenges. It's made me understand that every person has their own14 . "

 Mckenna is a beautiful person, inside and out. 15 showing us that we are much more than our physical body, her strong mind is also helping remove the shame about hair loss.
