Look at me. I am wearing sports clothes and a pair of trainers. Trainers are light and comfortable and are popular among young people. 

Here comes Simon. He is wearing a purple shirt and a pair of gray trousers. His red and gray tie (领带) matches his clothes. He looks smart. 

Now Amy and Daniel are coming. They look cool! Amy is wearing a yellow cotton blouse and a blue scarf. Daniel is wearing a blue T-shirt. Both of them are wearing blue jeans (牛仔裤). Young people really like jeans！

Look! Here comes Sandy. She is wearing a red silk blouse, a black wool skirt and a pair of red boots. She looks modern and beautiful!

I like doing many things in my free time. I am{#blank#}1{#/blank#} lover of reading. I often do some {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (read) after school. I read many kinds of books, magazines {#blank#}3{#/blank#} newspapers. I'm tidy and I'm always {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(care) with my books. I'm also a music lover. I like all kinds of music. I often listen {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the music programmes on the radio. Although I can't {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (sing) English songs well, I like them a lot. I want {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (be) a singer one day. And I can play some instruments, such as the piano, the guitar and so on. This beautiful piano is {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(my). I like sports as well. I often play badminton after class in the afternoon. I often run {#blank#}9{#/blank#} the morning. Of course, sports can also help me {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (keep) fit.

What colour is the sea? It's blue. What colour is the grass? It's green. What colour are the strawberries? They're red. Everything in the world has its colour. Our art teacher tells us that red, blue and green are three primary colours (三原色) if we put red and green together, we can get yellow; if we put red and blue together, we can get purple. We all live in a colourful world.

Different colours can give us different feelings and different colours have different meanings. The same colour also has different meanings in different places. In China, people like red very much because we think red can bring good luck (好运) to us. But in some European countries, it means anger (愤怒). In most countries in the world, people like green, but people from England and Japan don't like it. In Australia, people think that black cats can bring them good luck, but in America, people think the white cat is a lucky cat.
