Last weekend we went to the countryside (乡村) to have a picnic. We took a few sandwiches and some bottles of water with us for lunch. Of course, we didn't forget(忘记) to take some fruit and we even took some tomatoes and potatoes. We left home quite early because we wanted to avoid the traffic jam (避免堵塞). About two hours later, we came to a nice place. It was near a river. We put our bicycles under the trees and went swimming. It was a very hot day. The water was very clean(干净的). After having a swim, we had lunch in the cool shade(阴影) under the trees. Then we went for a walk. We came back home before it was getting dark(天黑).

This is a beautiful garden. It is small but it is very nice. There is a tree in the garden. There are two yellow birds in the tree. They can sing very well. Two boys are under the tree. Who are they? They are my brother Ken and my cousin Jim. They like playing together. Dad is in the bedroom. He is talking with Uncle Wang. Mum is in the kitchen. She is a cook. She can cook nice food. I want to help her.

There are {#blank#}1{#/blank#}days in a week. We go to school from{#blank#}2{#/blank#} to Fridays. We have Chinese and maths on Mondays. And we have English and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}on Tuesdays. Mr Chen is our music {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. He is tall. He can{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the piano very well. I like Wednesdays best. Because we have a PE class on {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. I like doing sports in PE class. We don't go to school on Saturdays and {#blank#}7{#/blank#}. I can {#blank#}8{#/blank#} TV and play football on the weekend. I love my week.

Sun Yingsha is a member of the Chinese women's table tennis team. She was the champion（冠军）of the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou Women's Table Tennis. She was born in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province on November 4th, 2000. Sun Yingsha is a very cute girl. Her friends like pinching（掐）her face.

She likes playing ping-pong very much. She began to play ping-pong at the age of 5. She always works very hard and tries her best.

 It's cold today. Lily feels cold and she can't get up on time. Her mother asks her,"What's wrong?""I feel very cold. Maybe I am ill. " Lily answers. Her mother is worried and says, "You can't go to school this morning. Please get up and wear warm clothes. Let's go to the hospital and see a doctor. Don't worry. I'm sure you' ll be better soon."
