Over the past years Starbucks coffee {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (become) a coffee chain store. The cafes don't sell coffee; they sell {#blank#}2{#/blank#} very atmosphere. They offer customers the perfect atmosphere {#blank#}3{#/blank#} which to take time out and relax. Every single store throughout the world is furnished in a romantic style and {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (special) meant to be cozy, private and quiet: earth-toned(褐色调)space, fancy wall paper, lovely paintings,{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (amaze) background and irresistible coffee smell…The most fantastic decoration style about Starbucks {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (design) with oversized chairs and tables outside the store. When {#blank#}7{#/blank#} comes to a sunny afternoon, I love to take a seat outside,{#blank#}8{#/blank#} (bathe) in the afternoon sunshine, and listening to the lovely music {#blank#}9{#/blank#} tasting the most terrific Cappuccino. This is exactly what I love in here—the Starbucks! This is the cafe I love not merely because of the cafe itself, but also because of the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(feel) it brings me.

    Last weekend our school held a sports meeting.{#blank#}1{#/blank#} (realize) it was our last high school sports meeting, we decided to make{#blank#}2{#/blank#}an unforgettable experience for all of us.

   We first attended the opening parade, for{#blank#}3{#/blank#}our class had made a lot of {#blank#}4{#/blank#}(prepare).{#blank#}5{#/blank#}our excitement, our parade performance was a great success. After the parade, the games started. My classmates attended various events such as running, high jump and long jump. Due to the hard training they{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(do) before, their performances were very {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(impress). On the stand, my classmates applauded and cheered for the athletes, some raising their cameras to capture the exciting moments. Finally, the result{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(announce). It was amazing that our class won the second place. Our efforts paid off! Cup in hand, we took{#blank#}9{#/blank#}picture together.

   I believe this sports meeting will remain a precious memory for all of us{#blank#}10{#/blank#}time goes by.

    May is National Bike Month—a month-long event trying to get couch potatoes (电视迷) outside, cars off the roads and subway trains empty. It is meant {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(encourage) everyone to get back onto their bicycles to enjoy riding a bike as often as they can during the month. Summer begins in May and the weather turns warm. So why not mind {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (enjoy) the sunshine right now?

    Let's take out our {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(bike) and paint them blue. Let's invite a group of friends and ride out to enjoy the {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (sun) summer this May. We are sure to enjoy {#blank#}10{#/blank#}.

    It was the spring of 1943 during World War Ⅱ. Standing among hundreds of new {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(soldier)at Camp Grant, Sam, just 18 years old, waited as a truck slowly drove by. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} full field pack was randomly thrown to each soldier.

    So why was Sam's last name marked on the things? You may not believe it, but it was the field pack that his father {#blank#}6{#/blank#}(use)during World War I.

    Sam {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(certain) didn't know that when he received it. It wasn't until after the war {#blank#}8{#/blank#} he found out why.

    After the war, he talked {#blank#}9{#/blank#}that with his father. After {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (talk)for a while, Sam's father became sure that the pack once belonged to him.

    Both the father and the son couldn't believe that! What a coincidence!
