Hello, everyone. My name is Jack Brown. I'm 35 years old and I'm from America. I like basketball, football and swimming. But football is my favourite sport, and I can play it very well. I like cooking, too. 

I have two daughters and they are now at St. Paul's School. I work at the school, too. But I'm not a teacher there. What do I do? I'm a cook. I cook lunch for the students there. 

I think it's important to eat the right food and be healthy, so I don't cook food like hamburgers for the students. I cook healthy and delicious food for them. It's not easy to make all the students like the food, but I do what I can do to make the lunch delicious. Many students say that they like the food. I'm really happy about that. 

Many kids help parents to do chores in the house.They may take out the trash，walk the dog or clean the floor.In return，some kids get money or other rewards from their parents，such as 20 minutes to play computer games.

But some people do not think that kids should get rewards for doing chores.One of them is Jane Smith，a parenting educator and family coach（顾问） .She believes if kids get rewards（值得）doing unless you get something in return.For example，kids won't clean the floor if they see it is dirty.But they will do it if their parents reward them for it.

"Every house is a team effort（努力），"Jane said. "A home is a living place for everyone in the family.It's important for kids to see that we all have a responsibility （责任）to keep our home clean."

However，other people have different ideas.They believe that money or other rewards encourage kids to do more chores.It also teaches them real world lessons.They can learn about how we need to work to make money.

Now，there are also apps that encourage kids to do chores.The apps give kids points and digital（数字的） gifts that can be used either online or in life.With the Chore Monster（交换）their points for real rewards，such as time to play video games or a trip to the shop." Our goal is to encourage kids to do chores so they can get rewards." says Joe Black（创始人）of Chore Monster.Kids need positive（积极的） power to make them do chores."

Anyway，action is above all with rewards or not.

This is my family. My grandpa's name is Harry Brown, and my grandma's name is Jean Brown. These are my father Jeff and my mother Lily. I have a sister, and her name is Gina Brown. My name is Tom Brown. We're in No.1 Middle School. In my family, I have a cat Mimi and a dog Vivi. Mimi is yellow and white, and Vivi is black and white. They are very lovely, and my family is also very warm（温暖的）.I love my family.

Ye Jiaying, also known as Florence Yeh, was selected as one of the ten role models who won 2020 Touching China awards, a program by the CCTV.

Ye Jiaying was born into a family of scholars in July 1924 in Beijing. As an expert in the study of classical Chinese literature (文学), she started her lifelong career as a literature teacher in 1945 when she graduated from Fu Jen Catholic Unisersity, which later became part of Beijing Nonnal University.

In 1948, towards the end of the Chinese civil war, Ye and her husband moved to Taiwan. She gained popularity in Taiwan. With students speaking highly of her teaching, she was recruited by Taiwan University, Fu Jen University and Tamkang University to leach Chinese literature.

 In 1966, the couple moved to the United States, where Ye first taught Chinese poetry at Michigan State University and then at Harvard University. Later, they moved to Canada and she worked as a tenured professor at the University of Columbia in Canada.

Beginning in 1979, Ye began spending summers teaching at various Chinese colleges, including famous universities such as Beijing University, Nankai University and Fudan University. She offered her services for free and paid her own travel expenses (开销). She believes that her teaching is the best gift she can offer to the country and later generations.

In 2013, she came back to China and worked in Nankai University. She has settled down in Tianjin since then. The university announced (宣布) that Ye had donated 18.57 million yuan ($2.8 million) to the college to set up the Jiaying Scholarship.

According to the speech which explained why she won the 2020 Touching China awards, Ye Jiaying devoted herself to teaching Chinese poems. She only did one thing in her life, bringing the beauty of ancient Chinese poetry to the world.
