Teenagers can make money to buy things for themselves if they have one or two part-time jobs, which is good for them, of course. However, there're (many) teenagers volunteering than having part-time jobs now. A recent survey (show) that 56% of teenagers volunteer to help charities, while only 39% (take) part-time jobs to make money. Parents also say that 82% of teenagers do something to help others in their lives.

    Sara Johnson,   teacher at a high school in Chicago, realizes that teenagers are more  (interest) in joining in charities. She said, “I think that kids are realizing how  (importance) it is.” She believes that the teenagers in the younger generation do more in charities than her generation (do).Unlike other public high schools, Illiana Christian High School doesn't often (ask) its students to do public services,  most of its students still volunteer. Suzanne Hammer, a junior, said, “I don't understand why you don't take part in voluntary (activity) if you can. I think everybody should try to help others.
