    Today is January the nineteenth. It's Chinese New Year.    

Would you like to visit Britain(英国)one day? Our country would like to welcome you!

Overseas travel can be expensive. But there are ways of visiting Britain cheaply. We hope that we can give you some good ideas.

When to come?

If you can avoid(避免)the busy months----July and August, your visit will becheaper.

There will be smaller numbers of visitors. British weather is pleasant from April to the end of September. Ofcourse,you can visit it in winter, but it is often dark by 4 p.m. Many places, such as large houses and castles(城堡),are closed early in winter. However, if you want to visitmuseums,or theaters,winter may be a good time to visit.

Be prepared.

If you are a student, it's a good idea to have an International Student Id Card(国际学生身份证).With this card, you can save a lot of money. You can get the card from your local student traveloffice,and you can also call(44)-08708-41324 to get it. To get the card, you need to show that you are a student, get a passport photo, and pay a little money.

There are three people in my family. They  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}my father, my mother and I. We have different {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. My father likes playing football. He is busy. So he often  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}football for a rest. My mother likes dancing. She says it can {#blank#}4{#/blank#}her keep healthy. What are my hobbies? Let me tell you. I like running and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} cartoons.

It's Children's Day today. Every student is happy. They bring(带来)many toys to the classroom and have a toy show. There is a small toy car on the desk. It can run very fast.It's Peter's favourite toy. Lily has a lovely doll. It's on the chair. The doll has yellow hair and blue eyes. It has a dress. Look at the toy plane on the shelf. Mike says it can fly. There is a man in it .And there is a toy boat on the desk. It's not big, but it's new. Linda likes it very much. There are so many toys. They are all beautiful. The students play with the toys happily.

Today was the first day1 the summer holiday. Katy and I went out together. First, we went swimming in the pool. We2 for an hour. I didn't swim well but I enjoyed it very much. At 1 p.m., we had3 in a fast-food restaurant. I ate some fries and Katy tried some sandwiches. Then we watched4 interesting film at the cinema. It was about animals. It was fun. But the man next to me smoked there. I told him : "Stop5 in the cinema." He said "Sorry." And we enjoyed the film again.
