In the near future （将来，未来）, cars are going to be different. People （人们）will not drive them. There will be a computer in every car. The computer will drive the car for us. We can sit in the car, listen to music, drink tea, or even （甚至） sleep. But people must give orders （命令） to the computer before it begins working.

Sandy is fat and looks unhealthy (不健康的). She likes playing computer games. She enjoys watching TV, too. Sometimes she watches TV for four or five hours in the evening and she often goes to bed late. She doesn't like doing sports. She

likes to eat dessert(甜食) and chips(薯条). She eats them every day. She seldom(很少)eats fruit or vegetables, but she loves junk(垃圾) food. We shouldn't learn from her.

"Look, Mum! See what a pretty fish! It is a little trout（鳟鱼）," said Scott to his mother. Scott's mother asked, "Where did you get it, Scott?"

"Jim caught it in the small river. When I went to the small river to get some water this morning, I saw this little fish. Then I told Jim about the fish, and he ran to get his fish net（网）. He put the net into the water and caught it, and then I put it into this glass."

"Well, what will you do with it?" asked Scott's mother. 

"I will keep it, Mum," answered Scott. 

"But, my boy, it will not live in that glass. You should put it back into the small river," said his mother. 

Scott was a little sad. "I wish I could keep it. It is so pretty! May I keep it?"

"No, Scott," said his mum. "You must put it into the small river. A trout will not live in warm water."

Today is my birthday （生日）. I am {#blank#}1{#/blank#}, years old. My father gives me a {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. My mother gives me a {#blank#}3{#/blank#} dog. We drink some {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and eat a big birthday {#blank#}5{#/blank#} together.

Today is {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. It's a {#blank#}2{#/blank#} day. I often {#blank#}3{#/blank#} {#blank#}4{#/blank#} in the morning and {#blank#}5{#/blank#} {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in the afternoon. My brother Jim often plays {#blank#}8{#/blank#} with his friends. My mother is a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. She teaches {#blank#}10{#/blank#}. She often {#blank#}11{#/blank#} {#blank#}12{#/blank#} on Saturdays. We all like Saturdays!
