I am an apple tree. I like spring(春天) because it's warm. I get flowers. I get new leaves.

I like summer(夏天) because it's hot. My apples grow. My leaves become greener(更绿).

I like autumn(秋天) because it's cool. My apples become red. My leaves become yellow. People come and pick(摘) my red apples.

I have no leaves or apples in winter(冬天). But I like winter because of(因为) the white snow.

Mrs. Brown's Old Grandpa

Mrs. Brown's old grandpa was 80 years old. He lives with Mrs. Brown and her husband. Every morning he went for a walk in the park ad came home at twelve for lunch. 

But one morning a police car stopped outside Mrs. Brown's house at twelve o'clock, and two policemen helped her grandpa to get out. One of them said that the poor old man could not find his way home, so they took him home by car. Mrs. Brown thanked the policemen, and they left 

"But, Grandpa" she said to him, "You have been going to the park every day for twenty years. How can't you find the way?"

The old man smiled and said, "I can find the way. I am just tired. I don't want to walk home."

Art is my favourite subject(科目) because I like our art teacher, Mr Jones. He has short hair and often wears black glasses. He is a young and active(积极的) teacher. Most of the students like him because he is like a big brother to them. He often plays football after class with us. And he has classes in a very easy and attractive(吸引人的) way. When I grow up(长大), I want to be an art teacher like Mr Jones and I will do my best to be loved by my students.

Tutu's father gives him a cat on his birthday. The cat's name is Xiaoguai. It is very cute, and it likes eating vegetables （蔬菜） very much.

Tutu: Dad, Dad! Where's Xiaoguai?

Dad: Is it in the living room?

Tutu: _____________________

Dad: Hmm... Is it in the study?

Tutu: No, it isn't. Oh, look! It's in the kitchen. It's eating vegetables.
