It's Sunday today. John doesn't go to school. He {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (do) his homework at the moment. After that, he is going to have{#blank#}2{#/blank#} picnic with his friends in the park. They are going to take some fruit with them, like apples, oranges and {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (banana). 

They are going to come back before three in the afternoon. He would like {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (go) over his English lessons. He wants to get good scores. Then he is going to send some emails to his{#blank#}5{#/blank#} (America) friends. He wants to know something {#blank#}6{#/blank#}Disneyland in America, Why? {#blank#}7{#/blank#}he likes Mickey Mouse and his parents plan to take him to visit Disneyland this summer. He {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (hope) the summer holiday can come soon. In the evening, he is going to the cinema with his family. It is said that the film is {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(real) interesting. It tells {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (we) a story about a funny cat. John is sure that he is going to have a good time. 

I have a neighbor we call "Happy". I have never seen her angry at anything and never heard her say a harsh (苛刻)  word to anyone or about anyone.

Happy and her husband Ben, 70, have a huge garden. They spent many happy hours together working on it. Most of the neighbors watched interestingly as Ben doubled the size of their garden. As the cost of food climbed faster than Ben's beans, we all wished we also had such a large garden. As the rest of us spent our dollars at the market, Happy could be seen picking beans in her backyard.

Last month, Happy and Ben invited most of the neighborhood over for an "all-day food fest". We were told to bring gloves and arrive very early in the morning. We didn't know what was about to take place.

By 9:00 am, there were nine of us in the garden picking tomatoes, beans, okra, and squash. By 10:00 am, there was lots of laughter. We shared a lot of stories. By five o'clock, everyone was a little drunk from the wine and beer. After dinner, we played games. As we were leaving, Happy and Ben handed each of us a shopping bag filled with the bounty（收成） of the day, already packaged and frozen. What a delightful gift!

Well, the point wasn't so much about the food. The true gift was a day of friends enjoying one another's company. None of it would have happened if it had been for Happy and Ben's garden. Now they have a blog about gardening in case we decided to plant a garden. And I am so proud of my tomato plants!

At school, students learn some different subjects in the classroom. These days, a new subject becomes popular. That is school gardening(园艺). Students learn it outside the classroom. It is not only an interesting subject, but also a great way to keep healthy. 

In the gardening class, students can learn a lot. When some young students have food, they always ask, "Where does the rice come from?"    ▲     And they can learn to do things with their own hands. They can also learn some teamwork skills and care about nature , others and themselves! 

The school garden doesn't have to be very big. Students can have a lot of fun in it. At first, teachers decide what vegetables to grow. Then they grow them with students. Carrots and tomatoes are their favorites because it is nice for them to get a carrot or a tomato, wash it and eat it right in the garden. Some vegetables are easy to grow, but others need a long time. This can teach students hard work pays off( 功夫不负有心人). 

Gardening is an important subject. Students should learn it at school. 

Last month, {#blank#}1{#/blank#} 18-year-old Asian pop star Candy Wang {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ( interview) by Young World magazine. She explained that when she was a little girl, she used {#blank#}3{#/blank#}( be) very shy and her parents helped her deal with the shyness {#blank#}4{#/blank#} learning to sing. As she grew up, it was not difficult for her to sing {#blank#}5{#/blank#}( public).

For Candy, she found that there were many differences after she became famous. {#blank#}6{#/blank#} it was good to get tons of attention, Candy was always worried about almost everything. For example, how to appear to others? What to say? What to do? What's {#blank#}7{#/blank#}( bad), she had to give up the {#blank#}8{#/blank#}( private) because there were lots of guards around her.

To someone who wanted to be famous, Candy suggested that he/ she {#blank#}9{#/blank#}( prepare) themselves for giving up their normal lives. Once there were many times that Candy thought about giving up, but she {#blank#}10{#/blank#}( fight) on. The road to success is always difficult.

Hi! I'm Jeannie and I'm 13. I am a 1 school student. At school, 2 always wear uniforms(校服). 3 wear white T-shirts, blue skirts and red sweaters. Boys wear white T-shirts 4 blue trousers. Their sweaters are 5 , too. All of our shoes 6 black.

7 I don't like my school uniform. After school my 8 thing to do is to take off (脱下) my uniform. I don't like 9 ! I always play sports 10 class with my friends, and skirts are not good for 11 . I like wearing trousers, shorts, T-shirts, jackets and sports shoes. I like baseball caps, 12 .

I don't wear skirts out of school. My mom asks me to wear skirts. She 13 , "girls 14 beautiful only in skirts." But I don't think so. Girls can be beautiful in T-shirts and 15 .

 One evening, a little monkey plays in a forest and finds the moon in a well(井). He runs back home and tells1 mother first. "Mum! The moon is in the well!" The mother monkey can see the moon in the well too. "2 bad day! The moon is in the well!" She runs 3 to call the father monkey.

 The little monkey wants 4 the moon. So he asks his grandpa for help. Soon his uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters and cousins all arrive. They say, "Oh! The moon is in the well! Let's help it!" Later they have a very5 idea. The grandpa monkey hangs upside down(倒挂) from a tree. He catches the next 6 feet. All the monkeys are one by one down to the moon in 7 well.

 The grandpa monkey looks at the sky8 he finds the moon is still there. He talks 9 them," Look! The moon 10 in the sky!" As a result, all the monkeys feel relieved(放心的) to look at the moon.
