Do you know how to learn a new language quickly? The best way is to put yourself in the language.

Talk with a native speaker(讲母语的人).People often spend too much time learning grammar. However, speaking with a native speaker can help people learn better. If a friend around you can speak the language you plan to learn, try to ask him or her for help. If it's hard to find such a person in your real life, you can make a pen friend online. Of course, you can travel to a country where the language is spoken. It doesn't matter whether you speak the language well or not. When you communicate in it, you are improving your speaking.

Use the language as much as you can. People often say they have learnt a language for many years, but their speaking is still not fluent (流 畅 的). In fact, they perhaps speak the language for only a few hours a week in these years. If you want to learn a new language quickly, remember to use it every day. If you can save your break time, you can learn extra (额外的) 20 or 30 words a day.

The Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA) in Mexico attracts lots of tourists from different countries every year because it always holds a very popular public art show every year. What's more, it's the largest museum of its kind in the world.

People built the museum in 2009 and it opened to tourists one year later. It's not like a traditional museum, and it's an environmental one to protect sea life. There are over 500 different sculptures ( 雕塑) in MUSA. These sculptures changed as they became the home to sea life.

There are three galleries (艺术长廊) in MUSA. The Machones Gallery is about 8 meters deep with around 470 sculptures. The Punta Nizuc Gallery is about 4 meters deep with 33 sculptures. It is close to most of the hotels. There's also a third gallery called the Punta Sam Gallery. And it's as deep as the Punta Nizuc Gallery. 

Visitors can enjoy the art show and get close to local sea life when they swim or dive (潜水) around the museum. If you don't want to get wet, you can still visit the underwater museum—just buy a ticket of a glass boat tour. If you get there, you will have a great time.

Mr. Dawson is an old man with a bad temper (脾气). He had several apple trees in his yard, full of apples. However, kids were 1 to go into the yard. They would rather stay far away from it. 

One day, 12-year-old Janet and 2 friend Amy had to walk past Mr. Dawson's yard. As soon as Janet saw him there, she suggested they cross the street and walk on 3 side. But Amy said they didn't need to. 

When Mr. Dawson saw Amy, he smiled and said, "Hello, Amy! I see you have a new friend 4 you today. " Amy smiled back. Mr. Dawson was kind and gave them each a fresh 5 from his yard. 

Later, Janet asked Amy, "Everyone says Mr. Dawson is the 6 person in town. Why was he so nice to us?" Amy 7 that she was also afraid of him when she first walked past his yard. 8 she told herself the old man was not as cold as he seemed and tried smiling at him. To her 9 , the man smiled back. From then on, they began to talk more every time they met.

If we keep trying to smile at someone, sooner or later, they will smile back. 

When I was young, my mum always encouraged me to do new things. She often said, "Have a try!" She didn't allow me to 1 at the very beginning until I tried it. Over the years, I have realized my 2 mainly comes from keeping those words in mind.

After leaving university, I started working in a big business （公司）. I just wanted to work for a short time until I decided on my career（职业）. At that time, my attention wasn't on the 3 itself. I thought I would work for several years, get married, stay home and take care of a family. However, I was 4 . I've worked for the same business for 28 years. I've got many chances to 5 different positions （职位） in the business. I've 6 every change of my position. Whether I was doing my daily work or finding new solutions, I liked learning and growing in each position. I've found that I have many talents and skills, because I 7 try new things. I´ve also found that if I put what I 8 into practice and work hard to achieve my dreams, I can succeed.

Today, I am so excited and thankful to become the top of the business. Another 9 has come and I am ready to take it, no matter what difficulty there will be. Thanks to the words "Have a try!", I become 10 enough to take every new challenge.

My Friends and I

This weekend is my 9th birthday. My mom books me a pony-riding (骑小马) party. The party lasts for 2 hours. It is from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, but Mom and I will get there half an hour earlier to set the table. We little kids can take turns to ride the ponies, but only ten kids can ride the ponies. I have so many friends that I have to think hard about whom to invite to the party. At the party, each of us can have a ten-minute ride. After each ride, there's a two-minute break. There are three ponies at the party, Dash, Poppy and Dotti, but only Dash and Poppy are for riding. We can brush Dotti's long white hair and give him some carrots, but we can't ride him. He's getting very old and can't carry us any more.

Mom gets lots of food, fruit and drinks for us. On the day of the party, the kids waiting for their tums can have something to eat and drink. There's a garden in the paddock (马场). Mom says the horse owner (主人) hides some small toys in different places in the garden. We can go to look for them. If we find them, we can take them home. How exciting! I can't wait to have the birthday party!
