Over the years, fried chips have become known worldwide and been enjoyed by adults and children in almost all countries. But do you know the world's First Potato Fry Museum was opened in November, 2013 in Belgium? For the fans of fried chips (French fries), they have a museum of their own!

The world's first museum of chips, was set up by Eddy Van Belle and his son in Belgium. The museum calls itself "the first and only museum for potato fries".

Eddy and his son are always proud of their favorite food. Eddy said, "Over the years, fries have become popular throughout the world. We are so proud that they originated from Belgium."

"So it is normal and necessary that the first fried chips museum is opened in Belgium," Eddy added.

The museum is in an ancient building with two floors. The museum shows a lot of exhibits, including ancient potato cutters, chip-making machines, and the pictures about the history of potatoes. You can see different potatoes and chips. You can also learn to make chips. It's a great place to learn about the history of fries and enjoy eating them, too! The French take their vacations seriously. French workers get an average of 39 vacation days, and 40% plan to take at least one there-to-four-week vacation.
Workers in Sweden receive an average of 25 vacation days a year, but they can't find time to use them all. More workers there return vacation days than any other country surveyed.
British workers have the longest working week in Europe(欧洲),with 23 vacation days --the shortest vacation. So they feel overworked.75% say their weekends or vacations are too short and 40% would sacrifice a day's pay(工资)for one more vacation day.

Naturally ,American schoolchildren love holidays .And they get a lot of them each year .Besides having national holidays such as Thanksgiving and Presidents; Day off from school ,students get longer breaks in the US only go to school for about 180 days a year.To students ,holidays are perfect .However ,parents think there are advantages and disadvantages .
On the one hand ,school holidays allow families to spend time together .Many American parents take time off from work during June,July or august to travel with their children on vacations either in the US or in a foreign country .On the other hand ,schoolchildren get much more time off school than parents get vacation for an time.This means that parents with young children may have to pay more in the babysitting or day care coats.As well ,the long summer holidays mean that students sometimes get bored.
Besides going on trips with their parents ,American students enjoy taking part in different kind s of activities during the holidays .For example ,some kids enjoy summer camps and outdoor adventure holidays .Such trips are great adventurous students .They also have a lot to offer students who aren't usually interested in traditional PE activities .ou can do courses in survival skills ,for example .Students learn how to make a camp in the forest ,which wild food they can eat and how to find their way to make a camp in the forest,which wild food they can eat and how to find their way back to the center.
