Zac is a squirrel. He lives in a forest. Every day the squirrels have to give the Monkey King presents. Then the Monkey King lets them get food from his forest. Zac likes singing and dancing very much. But the Monkey King doesn't like music. He likes reading books. One day, Zac sang for the king. The king was very angry and threw him out of the tree. Zac got up and was happy to see his bushy tail. So the squirrels' tails were bushy from that day on.

We spent a day in the country and picked a lot of flowers. Our car was full of 1 inside. On the way home my wife saw a bookshelf outside a furniture shop. "Buy it." She said at once. "We2 it home on the roof-rack（车顶行李架）.I've always wanted one like that."

Ten minutes later we were back with the bookshelf.I drove slowly. Other drivers seemed more polite than usual that evening. The police even stopped traffic to let us go through.

After a moment my wife said, "There's a long line of cars behind. Why don't they overtake? "Just at that time a police car did overtake, and two officers inside asked us to3 their car through the busy traffic. The police car stopped at our village church.

One of the officers came to me and said, "Do you need any more4 now? " I didn't quite understand. So I said, "You've been very5 .We live just down the road."

He was looking at our things, first at the flowers, then at the bookshelf. "Well, well," he said and laughed  , " It's a bookshelf you've got here! We thought it was, er, something else."

My wife began to laugh. Suddenly I understood6 the police drove here.

Sandy is a taxi driver in London.She tells us about her work and some of her experiences.

 1 did you start？

 I've been a taxi driver for about five years.Before that，I was a bus driver in London，and I enjoyed it，but I wanted to be more independent，so I changed and started driving my taxi.

 Have you ever had any famous passengers？

 Oh yes.I've had film stars，politicians，you know，some famous people.About a year ago，a really famous actor got into my taxi.I took him to the airport.There was 2

traffic and we spent a long time getting there，so he missed his plane.It wasn't my fault but when he got out of the taxi，he said some things that were not very 3

 to me!I said to him， "Next time，take a bus!"

 Have passengers ever 4 anything in your taxi？

 Oh yes，all kinds of things in here，a suitcase，a hat，mobile phones of course，even a dog once!Years ago，a woman forgot a pair of shoes on the back seat.And one time some teeth here!Not real teeth of course，false teeth.And people have asked me to do some strange jobs.Once a doctor stopped me outside a hospital and asked me to take a skeleton （骨架）.to the hospital in the countryside.And I did.But I asked the doctor to pay 5 — the skeleton couldn't pay after all.

 What's the worst part of your job？

 Good question.I've always enjoyed being a taxi driver.But of course，sometimes，it's not great.I don't like driving around without a passenger，but it's better than just waiting for passengers at the airport or at a railway station.

 The Lantern Festival is a Chinese traditional Festival. It is an importantfestival. It's the fifteenth day of the first lunar  month. It comes  after the Spring Festival. The weather is usually cold.We can often see a full moon in thesky.

Today is the Lantern Festival. I have a big dinner together with my family. We eat sweet dumplings for dinner. The sweet dumpling is also called tangyuan. It's a kind of special food for this festival.

 After dinner, we go out and see many beautiful lanterns in the street. Some children light the lanterns. They have fun. We like guessing the riddles on the lantern(猜灯迷). I get this riddle from a lantern.
