Have you ever been to the Great Wall? It is known as the  {#blank#}1{#/blank#}(eight) wonder of the world. Every year thousands of  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}(tourist) from all over the world come to visit it.

Last Saturday I went to the Great Wall   {#blank#}3{#/blank#}so me of my friends. On that day, it was a  {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (true) sunny day. On our way, we saw many volunteers keeping working in the sun. They helped the elderly with their bags, 

{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(take) photos for some tourists and answered people's questions. They were very tired,   {#blank#}6{#/blank#}they didn't stop to have a rest. We were deeply moved when we saw this.

Just at the moment, we saw   {#blank#}7{#/blank#}little boy standing alone and crying. We went over and asked what happened to him. We also told him not   {#blank#}8{#/blank#}(worry) and then we tried to get in touch with his mother with the phone number he gave   {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(we). Twenty minutes later, his mother turned up. When she saw her son, she was very  {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(excite) and thanked us with tears in her eyes.

Anyunna Phillips，a teacher in Atlanta，wants her students to know that they can do anything confidently by making a rule. The rule is that every morning，they take turns looking at themselves in the mirror and repeating some positive affirmations（肯定）. Some of their favourites are，Anyunna cheers and agrees with them，sometimes offering a high five. 

"It seems that students walk away from the mirror standing a little taller after doing that. I always remind them of their daily affirmations and tell them they can achieve anything. I really want to help them build their confidence，belief in themselves，and self﹣love

The students aren't the only ones who are benefiting from Anyunna's daily affirmations. She says her own mental health has improved since she started the program，and other teachers have followed suit in the school and are seeing success in other classrooms，too. 

Then on her website pages where she spreads feel﹣good messages，many people have given positive response（回应）. "It's been amazing. So many people are sending so many positive messages or sharing their own stories and they say I've encouraged them to just keep trying

Anyunna says the response has encouraged her to keep going，too. She wants to do more to help kids reach their fullest potential（潜力）. 

 Jenny is a 13- year- old student. She knows it's important to stay healthy and she finds some easy ways to keep healthy every day.

 Every morning before school, Jenny starts her day with some exercise. She does easy exercise like jumping. Her home is not far from her school, so she always walks there, even on cold winter days. To stay active, she enjoys taking short walks around the school at school breaks. When she gets home, she spends some time outdoors, playing with her friends and running in the park near her house. She doesn't like to stay indoors soon after she gets home. In the evening, Jenny also practices yoga before she goes to bed. It helps her to sleep better.

 On weekends, Jenny loves going for bike rides with her family or taking walks in the park. Staying active not only helps her stay healthy but also gives her a break from schoolwork and cleans her mind for the coming week.

Jing Baoshan，69，lives a quiet life in Pinglu County， "Baoshan" 1 "protecting the mountains"，something he seems to have been doing in his life. 

In 1970，the then 17-year-old 2 the army and became a soldier. After 17 years，Jing3 to his I hometown in Pinglu and worked as a forest ranger （护林员）. He worked there for 25 years until he retired in 2012.4 his 25 years of service，he worked alone most of the time and met a number of5 situations. Fighting forest fires was one of them. 

In 2000，he was patrolling （巡逻） when he found one fire. He called for6 from the closest village. As more firemen made their way，Jing and five farmers were7 the fire when the wind suddenly changed direction. Four of the farmers8 . Jing and the surviving farmer were9 hurt. He felt very sad for those farmers' deaths and that was one of the reasons why he decided to devote （奉献） the rest of his life to the forest. 

On October 1^st ， 2019，Jing was invited to the ceremony10 the 70th anniversary （周年纪念）of the founding of the People' s Republic of China. He said he would11 forget it for the rest of his life. 

Now，Jing continues to12 the forest as a volunteer at least once every two weeks. Smart GPS plays a very important role in keeping the rangers13 today. Jing believes the14 show the country's development. More importantly，he said that people are now coming to15 the importance of a well﹣ protected environment.
