Chinese Tea

Chinese tea plays{#blank#}1{#/blank#}important role in people's daily life, both at home and abroad. Millions of people want{#blank#}2{#/blank#}(have) a cup of tea at the start of their morning.

China is the homeland of tea. It's one of the{#blank#}3{#/blank#}(big) tea producers in the world. It mainly{#blank#}4{#/blank#}(produce) six kinds of tea—green tea, black tea, Oolong tea, dark tea, white tea, and reprocessed tea.

Drinking tea first{#blank#}5{#/blank#}(become) popular in the Tang and Song Dynasties. According to the records, it probably started in the southwest of China. In Yunnan, there are still some wild tea trees that are over 1, 000 years old. They are{#blank#}6{#/blank#}(real) uncommon and valuable.

According to a Chinese legend (传说), tea was discovered 5, 000 years ago by Shen Nong. Shen Nong was the first Chinese herbal (草药) doctor. He was famous{#blank#}7{#/blank#}his work to help many{#blank#}8{#/blank#}(patient). He himself tasted lots of herbs. People could have safe medicine just because of{#blank#}9{#/blank#}he did. He discovered tea when he traveled to high mountains and collected{#blank#}10{#/blank#}(difference) plants. Thanks to him, one of the world's favorite drinks was invented.

In America, there are many cars. But there are few traffic jams and accidents. We hardly see traffic police in the street, but all drivers follow traffic rules strictly, and people hardly find that someone does not follow traffic rules in the street. 

About American traffic rules, there are many good terms, such as:

Stop lines: There are stop lines in all crossings without traffic lights (some have two stop lines and others have four stop lines). All cars must stop while meeting the stop line. 

Traffic lights: There are traffic lights in the crossing of the road. Cars may almost turn every direction, and the traffic lights can give signals step by step, including U-turns(掉头), There is a kind of middle lane(车道) of turning left. When a driver wants to turn left on the road, he may enter into the middle lane of turning left and give a signal of turning left. When he thinks it's safe, he may turn left. 

Specific(明确的) items: As for parking. there are three kinds of lines (their colours are white, blue and red) in the roadside. Every line may park different kinds of cars. There are many streets in some residential areas (住宅区), but no car can park there at any period of time. 

About the priority(优先权) of passengers and cars: In any case, passengers have the priority to cars. And only after passengers have passed the road, cars may go ahead. 

In general, the traffic rules of America are very specific, convenient and safe. 

①Animals are important and they are our friends. But some of them are in danger now. What can we do to help save them?

②Don't eat meat. Some of us like to eat meat because it is delicious. But do you know some meat comes from endangered(濒危的) animals? To save animals, please choose more vegetables and fruit to eat instead of meat. And it's healthy for us, too. 

③Don't wear clothes made of fur(皮毛). Sometimes people also kill animals for fur. But if we don't buy or wear clothes made of fur, people will no longer kill them. 

④Donate(捐赠) money to Animal Helper(AH). AH always does everything to help save animals. But it is often short of money. So please save some money and give it away to AH to help animals. 

⑤Tell people it's important to save animals. Not all people are aware of their importance to humans and why we must save them. So why not tell people around us that it's important to save animals? It's helpful. 

① After a relaxing weekend, children have to go back to school on Mondays. For parents, they should do something helpful to let their children get to school on time. 

② Let children take a good shower. It's good for children to take a shower before they go to bed. It can not only help them sleep well but also save time next morning. 

③ Ask children to go to bed early. School usually starts at 8 : 00 a. m. So please let your children go to bed before 9 : 30 p. m. Your children should sleep for about nine hours every day. This is quite important as they have to get up early next day. 

④ Make a good breakfast for children. Breakfast can help children study better in the day. It can help students listen to teachers carefully and think well in class. Also, it's good for their health. 

⑤ Getting to school on time is very important for your children. So please try your best to help them. If you can do the things above, they will study and live happily.
