Spring comes and it's time for tree planting. I feel happy about the work because  I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (总是) dream to plant trees. It can come t{#blank#}2{#/blank#} now. And after a long winter, every child {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (想念) the color of green because it's a symbol of new life. Also, having some fun outside is {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (恰好) what we want!

 Early in the morning, I j{#blank#}5{#/blank#} my group with the other 19 children. Our  t{#blank#}6{#/blank#} ride takes 50 minutes and then we get to a park. We need to plant two{#blank#}7{#/blank#} (百) trees. The teacher says it's i{#blank#}8{#/blank#} to follow the steps(步骤) when planting trees. He also says good tree planters see this as exercise but not a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}(工作).

 Late in the afternoon, we {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (完成) our work. Tree planting helps me grow, too.

Aunt Ann is a police officer. After breakfast, Ann puts on her badge (微章) and goes to work. Ann and her partner, Jim, are on duty today. At the police station, the sergeant (巡佐) talks to them. "Last night, a bear ran away from the zoo!" he says. "Be careful!"

They pick up the keys to their patrol car (巡逻车) and drive around the west side. At the corer of Main and State, there is a traffic jam because the traffic light is broken. Ann stops her car and tells the drivers when to stop and when to go. Jim calls the station about the broken traffic light on Main and State. Soon, the station calls Traffic Repair.

In the afternoon, they walk down Elm Street. Everything looks quiet. Suddenly, Ann sees a little boy crying. The boy's name is Adam. He gets off the bus at the wrong bus stop. Ann shows him her badge so he knows she is a police officer. "Where do you live?" Ann asks. Adam does not remember, but he brings his ID card with him. He opens his backpack and shows Ann the address on the card. Jim calls the station and the station calls Adam's house. Ann and Jim drive Adam home.

A moment later, a call comes in from the station. "Check out the strange noise at 203 Cedar Drive!" Ann and Jim are on the way. At 203 Cedar Drive, the rubbish bin is turned over, Ann looks in the bin. It is the bear that ran away from the zoo. Ann closes the bin quickly and asks Jim to call the zoo. Two zoo keepers arrive to pick up the bear. Soon everyone is safe and so is the bear.
    Ann and Jim go back to the station. After work, they hand in their keys and write their police report.

Wu Mo and her parents live in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It is a beautiful city with a population of more than 9. 6 million. With a long history of about 7, 000 years, Ningbo is not only a famous historical and cultural (文化的) city in China, but also a great place for tourists. 

Wu Mo is good at her school subjects and she really loves reading. There are a variety of books in her large room. This weekend her uncle and her cousin Wu Gang will come to their home by car. They live in a town not far away from Ningbo. Wu Gang also loves reading. He hopes Wu Mo can take him to Tianyige Museum because he knows that there are many valuable ancient books in it. Wu Mo feels happy because they both have the same interest. 

Tianyige Museum is in Ningbo. It's famous for its collection of about 300, 000 ancient books. People see the museum as the biggest library in South China. In fact, it is one of the three oldest private (私人的) libraries in the world. And it has a history of more than 450 years. 

The opening hours of the museum are different. From May 1st to October 31st, it is open from8:30 am to 5:30 pm. From November 1st to April30th, its opening time is from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Well, the museum isn't open every Monday morning. 

Wu Mo is looking forward to their visit. They believe the museum will open up a new world for them. 

Helen is a good student at school. Her {#blank#}1{#/blank#} subjects are science and math. The teachers ask{#blank#}2{#/blank#} , "What do you want to be in the future(未来)?" She always says, "I love science and I want to be a scientist(科学家) like Albert Einstein."
