Home alone safety for kids

What it is:

This is a safety training course provided by Hamilton Elementary School for kids aged 8-12. Through role playing and hands-on activities, children will learn how to take care of themselves while they are home alone.

When: 3:30 p.m.—5:30 p.m. (every Saturday in November)

Where: in the library of Hamilton Elementary School

Topics include:

* Kitchen safety * Online safety

*Fire and storm safety * Basic first aid

* Calling 911 * Activities for having fun alone

Cost: $35 per child, including snacks and mini first-aid kit
