    I have always had a love for traveling abroad. Last year, I took a trip to London alone. Those nights，I stayed in a youth hostel（青年旅社）. For me，hostels are places where I can meet and talk to different people. It is great fun for me. During the stay in the hostel, I met two girls, one from Brazil and the other from Slovakia. We three had very happy talks together. We shared our personal travel stories and the interesting people we met with one another. The girl from Brazil was actually a lawyer（律师）. 她帮助人们解决他们的家庭问题。 She was taking a trip to Europe all by herself. The girl from Slovakia had much interest in photography（摄影）. Because I was also a photography fan, we ended up talking all night and sharing experience in using a camera.

    The best part is that they both became close friends of mine. Even now, sometimes we still talk with each other online. Last month, I got some photos from the Brazilian girl. To my surprise, she had a baby daughter and they were laughing happily in the photos. I was so happy for her. And it's such a great thing to know that there are people remembering you from far away. Though you may just meet each other for a few hours, you have someone caring about you in the other side of the world. And I think that is the most amazing part of traveling. So if you have free time, maybe you can try to travel abroad to relax yourself as I do.

    Some years ago, Danny gave up his job as a doctor to become a freelance(特约的) model maker, but now he has money trouble. He says that he wishes he'd never 1 to set up his own business.

    Set your imagination free. Children's imagination is amazing. They can always create things that surprise everyone. To 1 children's imagination ,New York City will hold an activity called the Inventgenuity Festival (创意发明节) for children.

The Inventgenuity Festival is all about thinking and 2things. It's held for children aged from seven to sixteen. Parents are also able to 3the festival.

    There will be many different kinds of workshops in the festival. Children are 4to create things in those workshops. For example, they can make things 5funny hand-made T-shirts or cartoon toy dolls. No one will tell them6to make these things. They create everything with their imagination. Besides making things, children can see a wonderful movie called A trip to the Sun in a 7during the festival.

    To take part in the festival, children need to register (注册) first , and then 10the workshops they like on the website. One child can take part in two workshops at a time.

One afternoon, Mrs. Stone decided to visit her friend Mrs. King. Mrs. King lived in a nice house with a large garden far from the city center. Mrs. Stone took her dog with her. While the women were having coffee outside the house, the dog was running around in the garden. The two friends were very unpleasantly surprised when the dog appeared after some time with a dead rabbit in his mouth. Mrs. King began to feel sick because she knew that her neighbor kept rabbits in a hutch（笼子） in his garden. As the dog and the rabbit were both covered with earth and dirt, the women took the rabbit and carefully cleaned it in the bathroom. When it got dark, they went quietly through the trees into the neighbor's garden and put the dead rabbit into the hutch.

The next afternoon Mrs. King's neighbor, the one with the rabbit, found her in the garden, called her over. She walked towards the neighbor and she felt very afraid because she knew that she did something wrong. "You know what?" her neighbor said. "Yesterday morning I found one of my rabbits dead in the hutch. So I put it in the ground in the garden and this morning," he started to whisper, "it's back to the hutch! I'm going to take it to a right pet cemetery."
