The death of Xiangxiang, the five-year-old panda who lived in Wolong Giant Panda Research {#blank#}1{#/blank#}（中心）, attracted the attention of the whole {#blank#}2{#/blank#}（社会） recently.

    Last year Xiangxiang became the first to be set free into the wild. The 176 pounds male panda survived less than a year in the wild, until scientists {#blank#}3{#/blank#}（发现） that his body condition suddenly became worse. Some people were sent out to see what {#blank#}4{#/blank#}（发生）, only to find it {#blank#}5{#/blank#}（死）.

    Those who fed and cared for him must still remember the enormous playful Xiangxiang. During the five years they have tried everything to {#blank#}6{#/blank#}（教给） him the {#blank#}7{#/blank#}（方法, 措施） in living independently. When they heard that sad news, they couldn't help weeping（流泪） for the death of the lovely panda {#blank#}8{#/blank#}（谁） had been with them for five years.

    According to scientists, when Xiangxiang was looking for food in his habitat, it met a wild panda which was much more aggressive. When they were having a {#blank#}9{#/blank#}（残酷的） fighting, Xiangxiang unfortunately fell from a high tree to the {#blank#}10{#/blank#}（底部） of cliff（悬崖）.
