Today is the happy d ay in this holiday. Although I was very tired, but I found myself in these busy days. I am afraid of taken a bus usually, the awful smell of the bus drive I made make me feel carsick. But today I did feel carsick. I can defeat carsickness finally.     I am glad to know that you are coming to China for a visit. I think Beijing will be a great destination for you. In addition the famous Palace Museum and the Great Wall, the city is more like a record of the country's development through hundred of years. You can get a taste of history walked through Hutongs. Or you can visit the Beijing National Stadium, also known for the Bird's Nest. The city is sure to leave a deeply impression on you, ancient or modern. Old as the city was, Beijing is now a very tourist- friendly place. You can see and hear in English almost everywhere. Take a taxi or the driver will talk with you in fluent English. One thing to remind you is that the traffic rules here are very different from that in Britain. Be safety.

    To increase the aware of protecting the environment, last Saturday we, some volunteers, carried out environmental protection activity in the Civil Square.

    In the morning, we have gathered at the school gate at 7：00. Then we walked to the square, when we were divided into several groups. Some collected the rubbishes on the square, some cleared the old posters off the walls, and another swept the ground. The duty of my group is to deliver environmental protection brochures and introduces the importance of environmental protection.

    Time passed quickly. It was getting late after we knew it and the square looked more beautifully. Tiring as I was, I was very happy because we did do something to protect the environment.
