As middle school students, we should not only know how to protect  {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (我们). But we should know how to help people in {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (苦恼). Zhang Qiang is just the boy who can help himself and others.

    Zhang Qiang is a  {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (有残疾的) student. There is something {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (有毛病) with his left leg. But he never gives up. He often does {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (志愿者) work on weekends.For example, he tells stories to those {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (孤独的) old people in the old people's home. Although it's difficult for him to walk to school, he kept on doing so. At school, he {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (和睦相处) on well with his classmates and teachers.He always gets good {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (成绩). He says, “ I should {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (依靠) on myself and {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (尽力) my best to help others.”

    Last Sunday, I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} a lot of things. In the morning, it was cool. I went to the supermarket with my mother. There {#blank#}2{#/blank#} lots of people there. The supermarket was very {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (crowd), so I felt unhappy. At noon, it was hot. I had lunch {#blank#}4{#/blank#} my friends. Then we listened to music and had a rest there. The weather was still hot {#blank#}5{#/blank#} the afternoon, so we went to the beach and {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (swim) in the sea. We had great fun {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (play) in the water all the afternoon. In the evening, the weather was cool. We played table tennis {#blank#}8{#/blank#} our school. We played {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (hard) and we felt a little {#blank#}10{#/blank#}.
